Emily's POV:
Life was great a week ago, when I wasn't uplifted and moved to a town in the middle of nowhere full of strangers. we never would've had to move if it wasn't for my dad being based in Afghanistan. it was too hard for my mom to stay where we were, it was rare we got to see him nowadays.I'm standing in my new bedroom, the walls were painted yellow. I had all my things set up, but something still wasn't right. I miss my friends. I miss my school. Hell I even miss the neighbor that used to cussed me out every morning because my bike was too loud.
I'm sitting at my desk straightening my last piece of hair before I'm ready for my first day at Rosewood high. Sure, I'm a little nervous, but I also have no intentions of making new friends and building a new life here. I already know I won't be happy here.
I go to my closet and pick out a pair of black, distressed, loose fitting jeans and a white plain T-shirt. I throw on my white Air Force ones. And head downstairs, I see my mom in the kitchen probably making breakfast, but I don't even care to ask. I grab my keys and my bag and walk out the door.
Allison's POV:
I can't believe it's our first day back at school after the summer, we are finally seniors and I can't wait to get out of here. I look at myself in the mirror one less time to make sure my make up is how I want it and that I like my outfit.I'm wearing light washed ripped jeans and a white flowy shirt with white heels, I decided I really like the outfit so I pull out my phone and text the girls to let them know I was about to head to school and to meet me there.
On my drive to school I think about everything that's happened this summer, I spent most of it with the girls doing fun things like going to the lake or just staying at home watching movies. Right at the beginning of summer I discovered my boyfriend Noel had been cheating on me for months, it hurt my feelings a lot, but not too bad, because nothing ever really felt right with him. I'm glad to say I'm completely over it.
As I pull in the parking lot, I already see Hanah's car waiting for me, and I noticed Spencer and Aria are right behind me. I get out my car and start walking with the girls to the building " so girls are y'all ready for this? Our last year of high school" I say looking at them " yes I'm so beyond ready to leave this place, you have no idea"
Says Aria, I know she's ready to leave so she can be with Ezra and not worry about what everybody has to say. We're about to walk in the building when we hear a loud motorcycle pull into the parking lot. All of our heads turn to see this super tall tattooed covered girl with long brown hair and piercing brown eyes. "She's hot" says Hanah with an eyebrow raised. "Who is she?" I ask looking at the girls. "I have no clue, probably a new student transferred here this year" says Spencer continuing to walk to the school.
Emily's POV:
I pull into the school and immediately noticed peoples heads turn looking straight at me. Great just what I wanted all the attention. I get off my bike and start walking to the school. As I'm walking in, this girl walks up to me, " Hey I'm Sydney are you new here?" The girl asked she was a little bit shorter than me with long dark hair she was pretty just not my cup of tea. " yes I'm new here. My name is Emily. If you'll excuse me, I have to get going." I say, as I continue to walk. I don't mean to be rude, I just worry about making new friends and getting uplifted and moved again. This is going to be a long day I think to myself as I walk in the school.
