Chapter 1: The Unholy AllianceNight had fallen, and the air was cold and damp. Salina Kishwat, dressed in her black saree, drove her car to a shady house at the city outskirts, got out of her car and began walking towards Kroor's house. As she walked, the wind blew, chilling her bare skin and causing her saree to cling to her body. Kroor, the master of black magic, stood outside his house, waiting for her. He was surprised when he saw Salina approach - her amazingly deep and wide navel caught his eye. He didn't say anything, but his gaze lingered on her exposed belly.
Salina noticed Kroor staring at her navel, but she thought it was natural for her navel to get attention - after all, it was her most talked-about feature in the country. However, little did she know that Kroor had seen something else in her navel - something that Daarka, the ultimate master of black energy, would love. As Salina approached Kroor, she noticed him picking up bone remains from the ashes of unknown dead bodies. She was startled by the sight, but she thought this is not the time to back down.
Salina went up to Kroor and said in a tone of fear yet determined, "I have come to you for a help only you can do." Kroor asked, "What is the purpose of your visit?" Salina, in a fearful tone, explained, "It all started when my father-in-law, Karan Kishwat retired and announced his eldest son Vivek would inherit his responsibilities as the chairman of the Ksihwat industires. Meanwhile, Vihan Kishwat, my husband was relieved from his position at the company and decided to pursue his dream of becoming a writer. Upon taking over the Kishwat industries, Vivek advised his nephew Rahul and Rohan (my son's) to go abroad to get an MBA degrees and get some industrial exposure. Vivek made his daughter Aditi the company's manager so that she could learn the family business from the ground level.
While Salina discussed all of this with her husband, Vihan suggested Salina was overreacting. Even Rahul agreed with her opinion but Rohan felt Uncle Vivek was merely helping them to gain experience they needed. So Salina came to Kroor for his help. She wanted Kroor's black magic to achieve her goals. Kroor kept noticing her navel all the time.
After listening to everything, Kroor asked, looking at her navel, "How are you still a virgin?" Salina gasped - this information was a secret between Salina and her husband! She replied, "How did you know?" Kroor gestured his hand for her to stop talking. In a commanding voice, he asked, "I want an answer?"
Salina replied, "Vihan wanted all the media to write about their family to get the company's share value to increase. So Kishwat family forced me to get married to Vihan. My conditions to Vihan were that I will never have sex with him until they fall for each other, and our children will only come from surrogacy. I thought Vihan and I would have real love, but he ignored me."
Kroor thought in his mind, "That's it. You are the feast to Lord Daarka," thinking of Salina's navel - Daarka's favorite feature. Kroor spoke to Salina, "I will help you to get a power - not just some power but the ultimate power of black magic to be the concubine of Daarka," Kroor offered. "But, there are challenges; you must lose your purity to Daarka - you must have sex with him."
Salina thought for a while. She had surrendered her career, her youth, and everything else for the Kishwat family, but she felt they betrayed her, now she needs power and she has the chance to get power for herself. She needed everything back. "Yes, I'll do it," she agreed, with an extremely determined look on her face.
