Another Person's POV

Shubman just kept walking beside Ishan quietly. Ishan tried to start the conversation a few times but it felt they were all one-sided. They both
reached the temple where the wedding ceremony was getting started.

Raj's eyes looked at his friend coming toward him but he was surprised when he saw the smaller man beside him.

Raj's parents noticed his expression and looked in the direction of two young men. Ishan smiled when he saw the decoration of the temple.

It was nothing like the subtle weddings in London. This place feels like it is filled with colours and happiness.

"Yaar shubman Mujhe ummed ni ki thi ki tu itni deri se ayega meri shaadi mein.....or ye kon hai.."

(Shubman I didn't expect you to appear this late in my wedding.....ummm who is he..?)

Shubman chuckled at his friend's antics. He looked at Raj and replied with a smirk.

"Tune hi toh side ki thi inhe balance ki or ab tu khud hi bhul gaya ki ye kon hai..."

(You were the one to beg me to make this person come. Now you don't know who he is...)

Ishan just glanced at both friends. He couldn't understand what they were talking about. He could only smile and wait for Shubman to explain to him.

Raj's eyes got wide when he realized who was standing in front of him. He didn't expect the prince to come to his wedding. He panicked and bowed down hurriedly to greet Ishan.

"Khani Khamba Rajkumar...."

Ishan just smiled with a blush and nodded his head. Everyone heard Raj and realized who had come there.

Soon Ishan's ear echoed with the people greeting him while bowing down. He felt awkward all of a sudden. He isn't that used to his titles when he comes to India...

"It's fine... You all don't have to bow down. Just stand up, and enjoy the moment. After all, it's groom and bride day..."

Everyone looked at Ishan in a bit of confusion not understanding what he was saying. Ishan looked at Shubman with doe eyes to explain to them what he meant.

"Ap sab khade hojayie, Rajkumar chahte hain ki ap log iss pal ko khushi se jiye or aj ka din Raj or supriya ka hai..."

Ishan nods his head to agree with whatever Shubman said. Soon everyone got busy with their work. Shubman took Ishan to the corner where he could sit and watch everyone.

"They all look so lively... I'm glad they will soon get the freedom Indians deserve."

Ishan said nonchalantly. Shubman nodded his head in response. Raj's parents offered their local drinks to Ishan.

Shubman was beside him all the time explaining how they were made and how in different ways you can drink them with snacks. Ishan listened to him silently.

Ishan met so many people in his life but not anyone like Shubman. He is full of simplicity and calmness. His heart felt calm when he looked at the younger talking about anything with his dimple cheeks.

"Yaar shubman idhar aana zara..."

(Shubmam come here...!"

Someone called for him. He looked at Ishan for permission. Ishan just nods his head and lets Shubman walk in the direction he was called.

Ishan kept playing with the hem of his shirt when he felt someone's constant gaze on him. He finally looked in front just to find a little girl in her purple dress which Ishan could assume must be a traditional blouse and skirt.
