(Inside Pure Vanillas Chambers)

Pure Vanillas POV

I laid on my bed hopelessly. I was stressed. Recently, me and my comrades had another meeting regarding what we would do with Dark Cacaos Citadel. Caramel Arrow had stated that she had most things under control for now, but even then there were issues that not even she could solve. This could have simply been solved if we just knew where Dark choco was. White Lily had mentioned we could take some of the people there and bring them to our kingdoms for now, but Caramel Arrow worried about people breaking into the Citadel and vandalizing it or even taking things. We agreed that Caramel Arrow had a point. We thought about it hard. We decided for now we would let the people stay there and live their normal lives while at least once a week we'd take turns visiting the kingdom and solving problems. Hopefully no attacks go on, but the people cant stay without an official ruler for long. What if they got under attack and had to wait nearly a week for help? I thought about it, and the more I thought, the more stressed I became. Why did you have to go all alone Dark Cacao?

I frowned. I knew me and Dark Cacao weren't exactly the closest, or maybe we were, but I still longed to have my friend by my side, unharmed in any way. Something about him was special to me. I couldnt exactly figure out what though. Even with the short conversations we had together, I cherished them as if they lasted for hours. I was stuck in a train of thoughts, thinking about all the times we had spent together. It wasn't alot of times, yet I still cherished them deeply. Then I felt a familiar cold breeze pass me. I knew this feeling. It was the same breeze from when I had my interaction with Dark Cacao in the Citadel. I opened my eyes fully just to see Dark Cacao laying right by my side. I sat up and looked at him. He looked back at me and smiled. "Surprise! Im back." He smiled from ear to ear. Something was different about him. He wasnt exactly the type of person to smile. Maybe thats one thing that I cherish about him. I smiled back at him, but it soon turned back into a frown. He looked at me confused. "Are you not happy to see me?.." he said with a slight tone of despair. I shook my head. "I am, its just..Im stressed out, I mean what are we supposed to do with your kingdom? We cant exactly just leave it there to fend for itself.." He looked at me like a clueless dog. Something about his death made him...different. Almost as if it changed him completely.

"I mean, we cant find your son. So theres no one to take over the throne for you.." He turned away and frowned. Maybe I shouldnt have said such a topic like that. I knew what his son had done to him and I knew what kind of trauma it left him with. "Im sorry. I didnt mean to bring up such a topic." I apologized. He looked back at me and a small smile grew on his face. Seriously, him smiling alot is starting to freak me out. Its as if hes drunk on some drugs or something. "Its no big deal. Its not like I can just accept it didnt happen. After all, its impossible to live without regrets." (Aaa one of his voicelines^^) I looked at him. This time though, I truly looked at him. I took a look at his features. I never noticed how long his hair actually was. I never noticed the little bump he had on his nose. I never noticed he didnt even have legs. Maybe thats too far on looking..One thing stuck out the most though. His eyes. Oh his eyes. They were like two pools of grey water. I easily got lost in them. If I was fascinated by his grey eyes I couldn't imagine his actual boysenberry colored eyes. I never took the time to truly appreciate how he looked. That made me sad.

How could someone ever hate Dark Cacao. He truly was a sweetheart when you get past his cold side. He waved his hand infront of my face. I shook my head. I must've spaced off. I apologized to him and smiled. He returned the smile. He chatted with me for a bit. He talked about how he could see all the other ghosts in the Citadel and how worried they were about the fact he was also too a ghost. After he explained it to them they went on about how excited they felt to finally interact with him again and how much of an honor it was serving with him. He went on rambling about how they would go up and scare the workers there for fun. I giggled at him. Something inside me felt odd. I felt warm and fuzzy when he talked to me and would turn to look at me while making motions with his hands. I simply brushed it off and continued to listen. He was truly special to me in many ways.
