The moment you try to open your eyes, you're blinded by a dazzling white light, situated, much to your annoyance, right above you. Seemingly there were more, brightening up the whole room in a dazzling white glow. Too much for comfort.

You almost feel like having a sensory overload. You ears are ringing and your vision is blurry. Your brows arch in a frown and you scrunch your nose as soon as a floral scent with bitter undertone you can't put your finger on.

You snap your eyes shut, not wanting to deal with the foreign senses attacking you. A few seconds passed. Your chest rises and falls with slow breaths, soft sheets beneath you lulling you into another deep slumber.

Where are you again?

You shuffle in the sheets, not wanting to leave the safe haven. It takes a few moments for your nerves to become active. The sheets don't feel so soft anymore... You open your eyes with a dissatisfied grunt.

You are in the infirmary. Surprises, surprises.

With a scoff, you turn to your right for some more shut-eye before a gentle voice speaks up from behind you.

"Woke up yet, sleeping beauty?"

You turn your head, only to find a familiar face. The Head Nurse, Mrs. Jane. You look around to see find her assistant absent, to which you sigh in relief. That woman is... peculiar.

Mrs. Jane smiles at you from her seat, her wrinkles deepening in her face. To you, she looks absolutely adorable. Slight dimples appear when she smiles and you love them.

You hazily push yourself up to sit on the bed.

"Hey, I was joking! You can sleep here a little if you feel under the weather, sweetheart."

"Can I sleep even if I feel just fine?"

She chuckles. "I don't know, sweetie, can you? Aren't you supposed to meet up with Nick now?"

Your ears perk at his name and you're reminded of the events before you had fainted.

"Where's everyone?"

"Everyone?"

You fidget with the hem of your shirt. "They, uh, should be gathered for.... something."

Jane smiles, "Big event?"

"Yeah," A pause, and a little shuffling in your seat. "Am I free to leav-"

The door slams open, making you both jump as Nick trudges in, with Nathan trailing behind.

"You okay?" Nathan hurries to your bed, asking with a concerned voice. You nod smilingly.

"Yes, mom."

You bet he was worried sick. He refrains himself from smacking your head, only grunting in response.

Nick exclaims your name loudly before dramatically putting his hands on your shoulder, making you flinch and back up, "Oh, dear, we were so worried about you! You just passed out of nowhere. Even Springtrap was so worried that he carried you to the infirmary himself!"

"Not out of nowhere..." Nathan adds in lowly and you glare at him, not wanting to reveal about Springtrap's malfunctioning to your boss. Also your mini meltdown.

Then your mind goes blank again as Nick's endless ramblings fly by. Springtrap did what?

You knew he was strong. All of them were designed to do heavy manual labor. But, it felt unlikely to happen. Springtrap wasn't programmed to be the empathetic type. You don't remember adding something like that during the second phase modification.
