Anastasia had always aspired to become a renowned pop star, undoubtedly enamored by the glitz and glamour that came with it. She fantasized about the ecstatic crowds cheering her name, the luxurious lifestyle that came with fame, and the financial stability it could provide. But most of all, attention. Not just from fans but, her parents as well. Or more specifically, her mother.
During her childhood, Ana was fortunate enough to have access to a vast array of luxuries. Her rooms were always filled with a plethora of toys, and her closet was adorned with sparkly clothes and designer brands. Everything she owned was brand new and in pristine condition, reflecting the opulent lifestyle she led.
But, she was missing something. Her parents.
It seemed like every time the young girl would try to gain her mother's attention, the woman would simply hand her a credit card and tell her to go do whatever she pleased. It was as if she believed that material possessions could make up for her lack of attention and affection.
The girl, however, knew deep down that her parents' behavior was not healthy and that she needed to take steps to address her emotional issues. She often thought about using some of the money on her credit card to pay for therapy lessons, but she was afraid of what her mother might say if she found out. But at the time she was only nine.
As days went by, the novelty of playing with her toys faded away for the little girl. She started feeling lonely and wished that her parents would join her in her playtime. However, her mom was always engrossed in her work, leaving her no time to spare. And her dad, who knows where he was - he was never around when she needed him the most.
Her mom, Sharon Halloway, was known as the world's first female millionaire. It was a big deal, considering she was a woman. She was the CEO of her very own clothing brand, Glitz and Glam.
Sadly, her dad wasn't in the picture. Her mom gave her a brief explanation about his whereabouts, saying he just left and didn't care for them anymore. Even though Ana never had the chance to meet him, she didn't believe her.
When Ana was a mere five-year-old, she had a profound passion for fashion design. She would spend hours on end sketching different clothing styles and imagining herself as a leading fashion designer one day.
However, her mother, who had discovered one of Ana's little drawings, saw an opportunity to turn her daughter's passion into a business. But instead of nurturing Ana's dreams, her mother resorted to stealing her ideas and never gave her any credit for them. It was a heart-wrenching experience for Ana, as her dreams were crushed before they could even take flight.
The mom came up with an official name for the venture and opened up to the public about "her" ideas only a year later.
Understandably, she has a lot on her plate, but it's difficult to comprehend that she doesn't take a single day off, especially when it comes to her child.
At times, the girl would gather the courage to open up to her mother about the overwhelming emotions she was experiencing. She would try to articulate the depth of her feelings, struggling to convey the intensity of her inner turmoil. Despite her best efforts, however, she often found it difficult to put her emotions into words, leaving her feeling unheard and alone in such a big house.
But, as always, her mother threw some money at her and shooed her away.
On her fourteenth birthday, she treated herself to something special- a shiny new microphone! Although it was meant for karaoke, it felt like much more than that to her. It was a symbol of her passion for music and a tool to bring her dreams to life.
As soon as she held it in her hands, everything clicked. She felt a spark of inspiration and knew that she wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a pop star.
She wanted to be...
