She sits down in a corner unnoticed
hoping to leave everything behind.
She says she wants to be alone
and all her troubles gone in a poof.
She needed a shoulder to cry on
and an ear to listen to her
and hands to soothe her whenever she was down.
She always had her earphones on
to shut the world down
and listen to the song lyrics
that were spilling her heart out.
