#22 Kidnapped + Fever

Michikatsu untie Tanjiro tied. "Please follow me to Muzan sama room." Michikatsu said as he lead the way for Tanjiro. Tanjiro just follow Michikatsu without any words. They arrive at one door that look just soo special than any other rooms that he saw while walking. Michikatsu knock on the door 3 times. "Come in." The voice of a person inside the room said. Michikatsu open the door. While entering the room, they saw one man with a black hair sitting on the chair while reading a book in front of the table.

The person close the book he was reading and look at Tanjiro and Michikatsu. The person saw Tanjiro as he smile but the smell Tanjiro can scent way more worst than those smile. "Ah~ Michikatsu. You finally bought him here. You all took a long time to get him." The person said as his smile turn into smirk. Michikatsu bowing to the person. "It's my fault. Sorry I've disappoint you Muzan sama." Michikatsu said. "Yeah. Now let this boy the only one I see in front of me." Muzan said. "Yes, Muzan sama." Michikatsu said. Michikatsu walk to Muzan side. Like how Muzan said, Tanjiro is the only one he see in front of him now. Tanjiro is nervous not knowing what to do.

Muzan stand up from his sit make Tanjiro shocked a bit. Muzan walk closer to Tanjiro. "Tanjiro Kamado, right?" Muzan ask. Tanjiro just nod. 'This guy is creepy.' Tanjiro thought in his mind. "You sure do know your father right? You must be sad that he died because of you." Muzan unfinished word has already shock Tanjiro. "But not for me. Since he already dead, I can finally get you. His successor. Can't believe that a guy like him even involves a kid like you." Muzan said.

Tanjiro click his teeth in annoyed. Talking about his dad like that like this guy want his dad really dead. "What do you meant by that?! What do you meant by successor?! And one more thing, do not say something like that about my father! You know nothing!-" Tanjiro said in mad but Muzan grab Tanjiro neck as Muzan lift Tanjiro up and start to make Tanjiro choked. "You're the one that know nothing. You just don't know how terrified that guy is. The guy that make your life like this. Same the guy that caused the death of your father." Muzan said.

"M- Muzan sama, you might kill that kid. We did not take him to talk about Yorri-" Michikatsu wasn't able to finish his word but Muzan shot Michikatsu shoulder. "ARGH!!" Michikatsu shout in pain. Muzan let go of Tanjiro as Tanjiro fall to the ground coughing out of breath. "I did not allow you to talk, Michikatsu." Muzan said. The glare of Muzan scared Michikatsu make he trembling in fear. "My fault, Muzan sama. I'm sorry. I'm really am." Michikatsu said hold tight his bleeding shoulder. Muzan then left the room.

Michikatsu knees fall to the ground. He's holding his shoulder tighter than before. In Michikatsu blurry vision, he saw a figure standing in front of him not knowing who. That person did try to talk to him before he could pass out.

Michikatsu wake up and realise that he was still at Muzan room. He saw a figure at sudden by his side and quickly take a gun from his pocket and point the gun at the figure. Then, Michikatsu saw Tanjiro. Tanjiro was shock in scared. Michikatsu is confuse but notice that his wound already bandages knowing that Tanjiro was the one that do it since Tanjiro is holding some part of bandage in his hand. Michikatsu feels bad and apologies to Tanjiro as Tanjiro accept Michikatsu apologies and also say sorry for treating Michikatsu body without permission and Michikatsu did forgive Tanjiro.

Michikatsu bought Tanjiro in the room that is very dark. Tanjiro was a bit scared but he try to be strong. "I'm sorry but we already arrange a bed for you to sleep here since the start we planning of kidnapping you. I told Muzan sama to give you better room but he did not allow it. Douma said that he doesn't want to give you a bed but Akaza did not agree on it so me and Akaza is the only one that wish for you to get a better place to stay." Michikatsu said. "Akaza?" Tanjiro ask want to know the person Michikatsu was talking about. "He is one of our organizations executive." Michikatsu said. Tanjiro nod understanding.

The room was cold. Michikatsu just worry even though he didn't show his feelings, Tanjiro could barely smell it. "You sure you're fine with this?" Michikatsu said as Michikatsu and Tanjiro face each other. Tanjiro nod. "I don't want that guy to hurt you anymore. I'll be fine I guess." Tanjiro said. Michikatsu sighed. He leave the room with Tanjiro in there alone. Tanjiro huffed as he start going to the bed and sleep.

MORNING

Tanjiro wake up but he felt like his head is very dizzy. His body feels heavy. He want to sleep more. Second later, Michikatsu come in with some food and drink in his hand. Michikatsu try to make Tanjiro to wake up but Tanjiro keep saying that his body is all weak. Michikatsu feels the different hotness from Tanjiro. Tanjiro is having a fever. Michikatsu run out bringing the food and drink away with him. Once he come back, Michikatsu is holding a bowl of hot soup, a glass of mineral water and some medicine in his hands. Michikatsu make Tanjiro sit. Told him to eat the medicine and drink the water. After that, Michikatsu make Tanjiro eat the soup.

Muzan waiting for Michikatsu to come with the boy by his side but the two figures is not showing up from earlier. It's been more than 30 minutes. Muzan can't wait any longer and go search for Michikatsu. He saw Michikatsu in the kitchen with one of his another servant, Nakime. "Michikatsu!" Muzan shout the name of the guy make Michikatsu jump. Michikatsu face Muzan. He bow in respect same for Nakime. "Y- Yes Muzan sama?" Michikatsu said.

Muzan come closer to Michikatsu and Nakime in anger. "What are you doing here and why didn't you bought that boy to me already?!" Muzan shout. "Th- That Tanjiro boy is having a fever. He said that his body feels very weak that make him hardly move." Michikatsu said. "A fever?" Muzan said but there's something wrong in his voice. "Yeah. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner-" Michikatsu hissed in pain as he was slapped by Muzan on his cheek. The slap make Michikatsu cheek become red. Michikatsu feels the pain throbbing on his cheek. "So what? I want the boy to come to me is that easy task is too hard for you to do Michikatsu?" Muzan said as he glare at Michikatsu make Michikatsu body trembling in scared. "No. I'm sorry." Michikatsu said.

Michikatsu come back in the room where Tanjiro is sleeping. Still where Tanjiro sleep but Michikatsu give him a more warm blanket to prevent Tanjiro body from getting more cold. Tanjiro vision is getting better and the same for his head. He look at Michikatsu and saw how bad he look. A bruise at his cheek and hand. Long red mark like after being hitted by a long thing at Michikatsu legs and back. Blood at his head and a big red mark on his cheek. "Michikatsu san your body-" "I'm fine. Do not worry about me. I just need to make sure you safe for our mission. I... I didn't do this because I pity you okay? It be troublesome if that guy mad and everything will go down soo bad." Michikatsu said. "That guy?" Tanjiro ask curious. Michikatsu say nothing but it make Tanjiro a bit mad. Tanjiro push his limit to grab Michikatsu and make the guy look at him. "Could you tell me what your mission is?" Tanjiro ask. Michikatsu sighed. "Our mission is to make Rengoku Kyonjuro come to us and kill him."

Tanjiro was speechless for a moment as he realize what it means. "What?!" Tanjiro shout. Going to kill Rengoku. It meant that Tanjiro has been in Rengoku enemy base all this time! Tanjiro try to get up but ended up fall down because his body start to getting weak again and lost his conscious. Michikatsu get out from the room and saw Nakime is standing in front of the door. "What is it?" Michikatsu ask. "Muzan sama ask me to bring this to you." Nakime said as she hand Michikatsu one file. "That's is all. I'm leaving." Nakime said. "Thank you." Michikatsu said.

AT RENGOKU SITUATION...

RENGOKU was in his office with Akira and Uzui by his side. Rengoku aura is spreading in the room. Dark glare keep facing the piece of paper. "Oi Rengoku." Uzui try to call for the guy and Rengoku face Uzui with his dark mode that won't fade. "R- Rengoku, just give us take a look at the paper could you?" Akira said. Rengoku throw the paper to Akira. Akira catch it. Akira start reading the paper same as Uzui when Uzui go to Akira side. After read it, Akira also start having a bad mode. "They have Master with them?!" Akira said in mad tone. His voice is low but the tone can surely be said that he was mad. "Tch. So evil." Uzui said in worry as he took a glance at Rengoku. 'No wonder he was soo mad.' Uzui thought.
