Chapter 2

A few days later Sunday hits. I haven't seen her in these past days, wonder if she got bored with me. Despite that my plan for today is going out for grocery shopping and sleeping through the whole day so I got up and went to the super market. As I got inside a familiar face greeted me with a cheerful smile in her face. "Hey!! Remember me? I'm Laura, we are in the same class". She started. Even though I don't know or am interested in anyone, I vaguely remembered her. She's also in some kind of community in school and only second to Fiona and also her friend.
"Hey !! What are you doing here ?" I asked.
My mind went blank. Even though I am comfortable with Fiona, I can't hold a conversation with another girl. I mean "what are you doing here at grocery store?"
Of course to buy groceries, what else!
"Umm I actually came here to apply for a job. I'm saving up to buy some things". She responded. "Do you live here nearby?"
"Yes, just down by the street". I replied.
"Well it was nice running into you, I'll meet you at school okay, I gotta catch the train or I'll be late for home dinner, bye" she spoke and left in a rush.
Wonder why was she applying for a job here if she lived at a long distance , weird girl.
After I got the groceries and was on my way back to home I felt like someone was following me. Despite that I kept on walking and intentionally took a wrong turn. As I was walking, I slowed down to see who it was and suddenly I felt like someone was about to knock me out so I threw a can of tomatoes without even thinking or looking. As I turned around ,no one was there. My over thinking cost a can of tomatoes which I was planning to make pasta. Now I was so hungry yet tired to make something so I bought some packed goodies and got home. I microwaved my food, ate and got to bed tired and slept.

The next day I woke up from a glorious long nap and headed to school just to see that some ruckus was going on all over the school. All the students were just looking like they've seen a ghost. As I made my way to the class from all the crowd, I overheard the teachers talking to some people with presence of Fiona.
"How did this happen to our daughter!?". They asked while being in agnoy.
"Who would do this to such an angel; my daughter didn't do anything wrong, why is this happening".
After hearing that ,some possibilities came into my mind. First was bullying, second was suicide and last but not least the act of murder. High school students nowadays are getting involved in something that they shouldn't interfere and this is what makes me feel anger. If you can't do things the right way then why interfere. Then again, high school students are mostly stupid so it can't be helped.
After doing some investigations I came to find out that someone from the school was brutally murdered yesterday and the parents are blaming the school for the cause and that's understandable because the weight of their own child's death blinded them to come up with the possibility with which they could unveil the truth behind this murder.
From my perspective this one is a odd case I mean what could be the best possibility of this mess. The act of jealous? By the atmosphere and the reaction of the student's parents, it definitely wasn't suicide. In this school there are lots of students with rich background. It might be the case where the people are trying to target the competition with the help of students. This can be either be a really deep case or someone just murdered her for their own satisfaction. There are lots of people in this world with lots of different mentalities. You could never know who or what really the person is or their goals. But this one seems really interesting. The school life has again taken a interesting turn. I'll enjoy this.
