Goodbye

The Kims, along with the Hans, stared at a picture of the lovely couple. Anyone with eyes could see the love they had for each other. Even 'till the end...

The couple mentioned, was Y/N and Han. They were your typical highschool sweethearts. Started off as enemies, but slowly became lovers. Their relationship was as sweet as a peach in season.

Everyone shipped them together, even when they were enemies. Even while bickering, the love was there. Everyone saw it. They were soulmates, as some would say. And made for each other as their parents would say.

It was a pity that it had to end so early...

It was an early GOODBYE

It was a rainy Sunday when it all happened. The couple went on their weekly grocery run. Nothing out of the ordinary. Well, that's what they thought. Little did they know, it was their last goodbye.

Before going to the grocery store, Han wanted to go to the bookstore to look for something.

Han: Love, I'm going in to look for a reference book I need for the new project. You can wait out here. It'll only take a minute.

Y/N: Ok. Don't take too long.

He pecked her cheek and went in. Y/N was scrolling on her phone when someone came up to her.

???: Hi miss. I'm a little lost. Could you please tell me where the pier is?

Y/N: Oh. Uhhh sure. So from the bus stop down the road, take bus 83 all the way. And it will lead you straight to the pier!

???: Thank you. You and your boyfriend look amazing together by the way.

Y/N smiled and before she could thank him, he walked away. However, there was something about him that seemed off. Just as she was figuring it out, Han walked out of the bookstore empty-handed. He couldn't find what he wanted and so they headed to the grocery store, hand in hand.

As they were about to turn the corner, two people popped out of nowhere and put a black bag around their heads. They were knocked out and dragged to a van. They were in a rather secluded place of the town, and so no one saw them.

When Han woke up, he found himself in an abandoned warehouse with his girlfriend. As he saw Y/N struggling, he used his mouth to remove the bag around her head. He then untied the rope around his legs and Y/N's. Y/N was panicking, crying, wondering where they were.

Han, on the other hand, was calm, trying to comfort Y/N. As she slowly calmed down, Han tried to find a way out. Just then, he saw a glass window. He used his elbow to break the glass. Thankfully, because of wear and tear, the glass broke rather easily.

He took a glass shard to cut the rope on his hands. He then made his way to Y/N and cut the rope as well. They ran to the window to climb out, when someone came into the room just in time to stop them.

Han: What do you want from us? We don't don't even know you.

???: Oh but you do. Well your girlfriend at least.

Y/N who was hiding behind Han, too scared to look, looked up and immediately recognised him.

Y/N: It's you. What do you want from me?
???: Easy. I want you.

As he inched closer to Y/N, Han threw a punch at him.

Han: Don't you DARE touch my girlfriend!

Han's sudden outburst shocked Y/N. He had always been the cool, calm one in the relationship. Seeing this side of Han shocked her. She didn't know her calm boyfriend was capable of this.

After a minute of silence, the stranger spoke.

???: You don't remember me Y/N? It's me. Your ex. The one you dumped for this boy. Do you not recognise my face? It's me. Sunghoon. The one who "died" in the school fire. But I was the one who set it on fire. I couldn't stand seeing you so flirty with your new boy toy. I wanted to kill both of you. BUT I ENDED UP RUINING MY FACE! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!

Everything started to make sense. Y/N dated him back in high school but broke up with him after she found out he was cheating on her.

Y/N: NO. I DIDN'T BREAK UP WITH YOU FOR HIM. I BROKE UP WITH YOU, BECAUSE YOU WERE UNFAITHFUL. YOU PRACTICALLY THREW YOURSELF ONTO YOUR EX WHEN THAT SLUT CAME CRAWLING BACK TO YOUR HORNY ASS. NEWS FLASH SHE ONLY USED YOU FOR YOUR MONEY AND BODY. AND IT WASN'T MY FAULT YOU DECIDED TO BECOME SOME PSYCHO!

Sunghoon saw red. Veins were popping out of his head. He lost it and started lunging himself onto Y/N. Before he could reach Y/N, Han threw a punch at Sunghoon. Blood came out of his mouth.

That's when he completely lost it. He took out his gun and shot both Y/N and Han. When he realised what he had done, he dropped his gun and ran away.

Sunghoon: I-I'm sorry.

He disappeared. Just like that. Leaving Y/N and Han alone. Y/N was bleeding profusely, laying on the floor in a pool of her blood. Han weakly went to her and held her in his arms.

Y/N was coughing blood, tears in her eyes. Han was sobbing, holding her in his hands.

Han: Please. Y/N. Please don't leave me. I still need you. Don't close your eyes love. Help is on the way. Please.

At this point, Han was exhausted. He dropped to the floor to rest. Without knowing there was a glass shard on the floor. It stabbed right at his neck, causing him to cough out blood.

"NO!" Y/N weakly cried out. Han scooted closer to his girlfriend, keeping her in his embrace. As both lovers were crying, they were spending their last moments together. They knew that it would be too late by the time help arrived.

A couple hours later, help arrived. Sunghoon had turned himself in out of guilt, and admitted to everything. But it was too late...

Y/N had turned extremely pale. "I love you... my love" Those were her last words. Tears trickling down her cheek.

Han, at this point, was too weak to even cry out in anguish as he saw his lover slowly lose her consciousness in front of him. He let out a tear, "I love you too... my beloved wife"

Y/N heard what he said, as more tears could be seen in both lovers' eyes. Both of them slowly started to lose each other. As they left the earth, forever, in each others' embrace...
