"We should get matching tattoos" Navia suggested as she, Clorinde and Lumine were walking down a busy street, passing shop displays, fashionable cafes and restaurants, with plenty of shopping bags in their hands. They spent almost the whole day rummaging through boutiques, galleries and any other place where could buy clothes. The aim was to polish up Lumine's wardrobe but it just so happened that she was the only one who didn't like anything she saw and didn't feel like buying anything.
"You hate needles" Clorinde noted sensibly.
Navia wasn't gonna give up.
"Matching manicure then?"
"We just had our nails done, dear" Clorinde pointed out.
Lumine noticed that Navia's face reddened slightly, almost perfectly matching the colour of her cashmere sweater.
"Oh my goodness, what about matching clothes at least? Please?"
"Clothes are fine." Lumine shrugged.
Clorinde nodded slightly.
"I agree."
"But nowadays everyone has matching shirts and pyjamas and socks. It's so boring" Navia pouted and gave the two other women a nasty glare. "You guys will literally just say anything."
Silence fell upon them.
"What about jewellery?" Lumine suggested.
"I'll lose or damage it and you'll be mad" Clorinde killed the idea swiftly. Lumine wasn't so sure about the validity of this argument, since the woman was literally wearing a set of diamond earrings, a matching necklace and a sapphire buttons on her shirt. Clorinde was rather prickly about her clothes and accessories, convinced, that she'd look simply ridiculous if she didn't micromanage every little detail of her appearance, from the perfect dark wavy hair, the length of her eyelashes and the exact shade of black her clothes were. Thus, Lumine just let the idea of convincing her go.
"We want something stylish and useful, yes?" Clorinde asked, glancing at Navia and Lumine who nodded, exchanging confused looks. "We're also incredibly fixated on schedules and time, so perhaps we ought to get matching watches."
Another moment of silence took place but Navia ended it:
"Oh darling that's brilliant! You are brilliant!" she exclaimed, making a few people turn their heads. "We must decide on designs. I'd love to have some hidden symbolism in those little trinkets but nothing pretentious or ostentatious."
Lumine raised an eyebrow and Clorinde just shook her head.
"Don't act like you don't have a design already."
Navia's cheeks flushed with redness and she got on the defensive.
"I may have some ideas but it's nothing specific yet" she tried to explain herself. The two women stared at her blankly. "Okay, I had them done but it's nothing final, it's just a vision."
Clorinde sighed deeply, while Lumine was trying her best to cover up laughter with a forced cough.
"You're an awful liar, dear." Navia received the kiss on the cheek from Clorinde with utmost dignity but refused to spare a word or look for either of her companions.

Lumine arrived to Scaramouche's atelier in the early afternoon. According to her schedule, she'd have to meet with Nahida shortly, however that was no longer the plan.
