The Moon

Oh dear moon,
Why are you so lonely?
What makes you unhappy?
When you belong to the world solely?

Don't fret about your spots.
Because those aren't blemishes.
The world bathes in your light,
Love spreads in your premises.

You are a boon to us
As your radiance surrounds the black
You show path to the lost traveler
As he supports your back

Don't let the scars taint you
Because you are the epitome of grace
See the light withing you
Now, smile a happy face.
