"Do you think I have suppressed her to be with me" ! I said while the smell of mouth watering curry chicken passed by me

The only food I would run miles for was my mother's food
My parents were already divorced befor my birth , so it really didn't effect me and noone told me shit that why !! Their relationship never had any empact on me , cause sometimes you would find me with mom and most of the time with dad cause dad would take me buisness meetings and other stuff and mom sincerely wanted me to take after dad ,but whenever I would ask dad about there divorce he would change the topic
and mom always replied that it was not working out , it was getting toxic day by day , mom never told me how dad was with her nor did dad

I was sitting on the marble counter of the kitchen , having my mother's company by my side , she had returned from Boston
Yesterday New York was her birth place but it was her least favourite

"No , I mean the way you take things around your loved ones can be suppressing but it's alright , you are not a bad person" !

I frowned my face and went into the Tsunami of my thoughts
When suddenly mom pinched me

"Aaah are you trying to kill me " mom rolled her eyes at my words

"What if she leaves, because I forced her in this engagement " I said while the fear inside me was runing high !

"Yeah cause you are really ugly "

"Mooooo m how can you say that I'm your son "

"Jesus Christ what is wrong in saying the truth "

"I'm not talking to you anymore "

"Ok my son your handsome , ooh my god looking at my son he is breathtaking "

I slightly chuckeld at her statement while she pushed the chicken inside my mouth

Don't worry son , you are getting engaged soon , it really doesn't matter, and everything is , just don't be a asshole like your dad

"I don't wanna lose her again "

When suddenly my phone buzzed and I took it from my pocket and it was a text from Anny

I did thought about the question you asked me yesterday and all though I know that there must be some dea between you and my dad I mean my step dad and that's the only thing I hate about us , but you know marrying you was never my choice and I can't do anything about it but yeah , there is nothing wrong in giving this a chance !! Giving us a chance !

We were getting engaged the next week and I was happy to know that Anny was determined to give us a chance, but I didn't change the fact that the hatred for her stepdad was extreme and for some obvious reasons, I hate him more than Anny ever could cause he had done bad things to someone who belongs to me !
