For a week, the tension lingered between Nobara and Urokodaki as they engaged in countless discussions. The crux of their disagreement, the notion that Nobara should stop thinking like a sorcerer, echoed in the training grounds and the quiet corners of their interactions.

Nobara's pride, a legacy from her grandmother, fueled her resistance. To her, thinking like a sorcerer wasn't a hindrance; it was the very essence of her being, a source of strength inherited from her role model.

Late one evening, as the training ground cast long shadows, Nobara found herself once again in conversation with Urokodaki. The room resonated with the weight of their conflicting perspectives.

"Sensei, I understand your concern, but thinking like a sorcerer is integral to who I am. My grandmother, my role model, taught me the power in embracing my abilities," Nobara stated, her gaze unyielding.

Urokodaki, his Tengu mask reflecting the flickering candlelight, met her eyes with a mixture of understanding and firmness. "Nobara, the demons we face care not for the intricacies of sorcery. Survival demands a different mindset."

Their discussions had become a dance of ideals, a clash of tradition and the unyielding spirit of a young sorcerer determined to uphold the teachings passed down by her grandmother.

Nobara's voice softened as she continued, "Sensei, I don't want to abandon the very essence of who I am. My grandmother's teachings guide me, and I believe they can coexist with the path of a demon slayer."

Urokodaki, recognizing the depth of her conviction, sighed beneath the mask. "Nobara, it's not about abandoning who you are. It's about adapting to the challenges you'll face. Your grandmother's strength lies not just in her sorcery, but in her ability to adapt."

I'll prove him wrong, she thought.

Sabito couldn't help but find himself lost in thought, contemplating the mysterious evolution of Nobara's hair. As they trained together, he observed the subtle changes – the once ginger locks now revealing hints of a rich, dark brown. Perplexed, he couldn't shake off the curiosity that lingered in his mind.

One day, unable to contain his intrigue any longer, Sabito approached Nobara with a quizzical expression. "Your hair," he began cautiously, "it was ginger, wasn't it? Now it seems to have transformed into a deep brown."

Nobara chuckled, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Observant, aren't you? I did dye it before, but my natural color is making a comeback."

Sabito raised an eyebrow, genuinely intrigued. "So, you've been keeping secrets, Nobara?"

She grinned, twirling a strand of her now darker hair. "Well, a girl can't reveal all her mysteries at once, can she?"

Their banter continued, leaving Sabito to appreciate the enigma that was Nobara, not just in her combat skills but in the subtleties of her hair colour.

Sabito couldn't deny that Nobara's natural hair color suited her beautifully. However, he was determined to keep that observation to himself, convinced that sharing such compliments would only complicate their dynamic. Silently appreciating her appearance, he continued to focus on their training, leaving unspoken thoughts lingering in the air between them.

Giyuu's gaze held a peculiar intensity as he confronted Sabito. "You like her," he stated, a mix of surprise and unreadable emotions in his eyes. Giyuu grappled with his own feelings about this revelation, unsure of how to process the newfound knowledge about Sabito's emotions towards Nobara.

Giyuu's confusion deepened as he heard Nobara once mention someone named Maki-senpai in her sleep. Puzzled by his own emotions and uncertain about the nature of his feelings for Nobara, he couldn't help but wonder about the significance of Maki in her dreams. But he shouldn't think about that. After all, they will become demon slayer.
