Lucifer

Chapter 9

As Lucifer starts the car, y/n begins to have a sudden feeling of unease. Y/n begins fiddling with her fingers. "You okay? You seem nervous." Lucifer asks, a look of genuine concern in his eyes. "I...I'm just a little nervous... What if your friends and family don't like me?" Y/n asks. Lucifer chuckles and places a gentle hand on her thigh. "I'm sure they will love you." Y/n nods and looks out the window at the secluded scenery.

About 30 minutes later, Lucifer arrives at a palace looking place, with extremely expensive cars sitting outside. Y/n's eyes widen. "This is a very fancy party..." Y/n says. Lucifer chuckles. "Yeah, it's uhm...people from work." He says, with a speck of nervousness in his voice. Y/n doesn't notice. Lucifer gets out of the car and opens the door for her, helping her get out. They walk inside the palace and into the ballroom. "Woah..." The room goes silent, all eyes looking at them. Lucifer smiles, and in a loud and authoritative voice, he says, "Hello everyone!" Everyone bows down to him. Y/n's eyes widen. "Lucifer? Why are they bowing down to you?" She asks, utterly confused. Lucifer chuckles. "I'll tell you later, darling." Y/n nods and walks with him into the room, people making space in whatever direction he was walking.

An extremely rich looking man comes up to Lucifer, a mischievous grin on his face. "Hello, Alexander," Lucifer says in a stern bit, also kind voice. Alexander smiles. "Hello, Lucifer. How are you?" Lucifer smiles. "I'm good, how about you?" Lucifer responds. "Good. Who is this gorgeous lady?" Alexander says, with a flirty smirk as he looks Y/n up and down, examining her perfect body. Lucifer snarls. "She's mine, Alexander. Control yourself." Alexander chuckles and puts his hands up in surrender. "Alright, alright." He says. Alexander walks away and goes to talk to a group of men. Lucifer looks over at y/n and smiles. "You alright, love?" Y/n nods.
