Jonathan Harker stepped out of the carriage that brought him to the castle of the count, Castle Dracula. He looked up at the large, black castle that he would be staying at for the next few months. Jonathan stepped up to the big wooden door, he waited nervously listening to the wolves howling nearby. Then finally he heard the big door open from the inside. A tall, dark-looking man dressed in all black stood by the door.

"My house is your house," he said smiling.

"Come freely and go freely. Leave here a little of the happiness that you bring," he continued.

"Count Dracula?'' Jonathan asked.

"I am Dracula and i welcome you to my house Mr. Harker,'' Dracula spoke ominously and led Jonathan to a big dinner table.

"You must be hungry after travelling," he said and pointed to the table with long white fingers.

"I apologise but I can't dine with you," he excused. Jonathan talked to Dracula about the Count's new house in England, Carfax house. Jonathan then finally bid goodnight to the Count and went to sleep.

Jonathan awoke the next morning after sleeping until noon. He looked around the dark room, he was about to shave when he realised the castle didn't have any mirrors. He took up his small travelling mirror as a last resort. Suddenly he felt two cold hands grab his shoulders

"Good morning," said the Count. Jonathan jumped and managed to cut himself on the neck with the small razor.

"Why don't I see him in the mirror?" Jonathan wondered whilst looking at the empty spot behind him where the Count should be standing. Jonathan turned around quickly to look at the Count. The Count had a strange hungry, almost lustful look in his eyes. The Count carefully watched the small stream of blood on Jonathan's neck slowly trail down. Jonathan lifted a hand to wipe the blood away. Dracula quickly noticed the small silver cross around Jonathan's neck. Dracula's face darkened as he quickly motioned him to take it off. Jonathan was mesmerized by Dracula's spell, he unclasped the cross and let it fall to the floor with a faint thud. The Count moved towards Jonathan, towering over him. He put one hand on his chin and lifted his head up to the side so he could examine the wound. Jonathan inhaled sharply when he could feel Dracula's icy breath on his neck.

"What is he doing?" Jonathan thought to himself as he felt Dracula's mouth on the wound, sucking his blood out, sharp teeth scratching against the sensitive skin of his neck.

"I will not have mirrors in my house," Dracula whispered in his ear, warning him. He grabbed Jonathan's mirror and threw it with much force out the window with a shatter.

Jonathan had been trapped in the castle for a few days now. One day he looked out the window and saw the Count go down the castle walls head first like a reptile. Jonathan's heart dropped as he watched him climb down the high castle walls.

"I have to go to his room, I have to figure this out," he said quietly to himself. He slowly climbed out the window, placing his hands and feet carefully into the cracks on the brick and made his way to Dracula's room. The room was covered in dust like someone hadn't been there in years, even decades. He noticed the clean narrow stairs that led down. He was hit with a strong earthy smell on the last step. There was a single coffin on the floor, he opened the lid slowly and peeked inside but no one was inside. All of a sudden somebody grabbed his upper arm.

"A man like you shouldn't be down here by himself," it was Dracula. Jonathan's face whitened and his heart sank once again.

"I apologise for being here without your permission," Jonathan said, avoiding eye contact.

"You're a handsome man, therefore it's alright," Dracula spoke and moved his hand towards his waist. Jonathan's eyes widened by the gesture and his chest tightened when Dracula turned him around to face him. Dracula's eyes were bloodshot with lust as his eyes raked over Jonathan. Dracula and Jonathan's faces were now too close for comfort. He pushed Jonathan forcefully against the wall.

"Be my vampire bride Mr. Harker," Dracula said softly and peered at him.

"Uhm, okay," Jonathan uttered.

"I need a yes, boy!" Dracula said, growing impatient.

"Yes," Jonathan whispered, afraid that he had no other choice.

"Good boy..." Dracula said and kissed him on the lips. Jonathan got startled again by his gesture but decided not to fight it. Dracula's lips trailed down until they reached his neck. Jonathan groaned in agony as Dracula sank his teeth into his neck and began sucking his blood.

"Now you're mine forever, Harker." Dracula whispered before leaning in again, kissing him passionately this time. Dracula's sharp teeth scratch his sensitive gums, leaving cuts. Dracula's slender hands moved to unbutton Jonathan's dress shirt, Jonathan looked at him with pleading eyes whilst Dracula removed his waistcoat, he was worried what the Count might do to him. Dracula started unbuttoning each button slowly with Jonathan growing more nervous. Jonathan shuddered as Dracula unbuttoned the final button and slid the shirt off. Cold air hit his bare chest and he shuddered. He felt his face burn whilst Dracula's hands raked over his pale torso. Dracula's hands quickly moved down to his belt, pulling him closer. Dracula looked down at Jonathan, grinning slightly.

"I must go now, Mr. Harker," Dracula said in a low voice.

"No, don't go," Jonathan pleaded, he didn't want to be left alone all by himself in a dark tomb. Dracula let go of Jonathan.

"Goodbye Mr. Harker," he said before walking quietly up the stairs. Leaving Jonathan alone and vulnerable and alone in a dark tomb.
