"Hyun-soo! Hyun-soo, get up!!" I yelled, helping him and An Gil-seop up as the protein monster approached us. Hyun-soo attacked him, but his weapon wasn't strong enough to faze the behemoth of a beast; it swung at us and knocked us into a pile of dirt, knocking the wind out of us, but we didn't have time to regain it as the grotesque being threw a cement Cylinder at us forcing us to scramble out of the way quickly. But that didn't deter the beast as he started to walk slowly and menacingly towards us with its permanent bloody smile etched into his face, but before he could get too close to us, Gil-seop threw his Molotov cocktail bombs at him, making him freak out and fall and roll around on the floor to put the fire out. Gil-seop ran over to Hyun-soo and me as he helped Hyun-soo and me up. We both started helping Hyun-soo away. Gil-seop paused, causing me and Hyun-soo to stop and look at him in shock as he coughed up blood.
It seemed as if time had slowed down as I looked up at the protein monster who raised his hand ready to swing at us, 'it's time I stop hiding. I need to do something. If I don't, then Gil-seop and Hyun-soo will die,' I thought to myself as I pushed the two away from me. I used my telekinesis, and with a forceful flick of my arm, I pushed the protein monster back a few feet. I didn't turn to see the shocked looks as I got ready to fight the monster one-on-one. before either of us could make a move, Seo Yi-Kyung comes ramming into the monster with a fire truck and trapping it between a building and the car like the badass she is, shocking everyone. Still, we all quickly snap out of it as the protein monster starts rocking the truck, trying to grab Yi-Kyung. As she falls out, it tries to squish her with the truck, but I quickly use my telekinesis to stop it from squishing her, grabbing the monster's attention long enough for her to escape. I quickly grabbed a heavy rock and threw it at the behemoth, quickly angering the beast and making it run full speed towards me just like I wanted it to. Once it was close enough, I decided to pull out another part of my powers and used my pyromancer abilities to create a giant firestorm, causing the beast to stagger around to find a way out

It was then that I realized that we were both close to a pit with a bunch of broken signs and sharp metal at the bottom, and it was then that I decided that this needed to end once and for all, even if it meant dying to take this motherfucker out for good. Seeing as my back was to the pit, I slowly started to back up, pulling the firestorm with me, causing the monster to walk forward to try and keep away from the fire. While we were doing that, I saw through the fire Yi-Kyung had the same idea as I saw her setting up the truck to run the monster off the edge, but I saw she was hesitating to go through with it, seeing that I was also at the edge. "Go ahead, it's okay. I'm ready to be free. I'm okay with dying. I'm ready to be free from the pain that haunts my past and present. Just promise me one thing: take care of each other and live, you can make it as far as you can I believe in you guys and never give up," I spoke to them through telepathy and nodded my head tearfully as everyone started crying as they watched my eyes turn black as the monster started gripping onto my strong desire to be free with a slowly growing grip as it tried to fight me for control that I refused to give. My nose started gushing blood from the intense usage of my powers and the constant battle of control with my curse, even though all this was happening I just smiled peacefully knowing my deepest desire to be free was finally set in motion without the help from the stupid damn curse.
