“So, you enjoy horror. Even someone so timid, you have such an odd taste.” Malleus chuckled. “I wonder what got you into horror.”
“Mummy and ojitan(Hades) taught me how to overcome my fear. It led me to enjoy horror. I enjoy drawing something horror related .” [Y] clarified, fiddling with your sideburns. “Rather than trembling in fear, I get excited.”
“I see. I wonder what horrifying drawings you have in store. You are an interesting one, [Y]...” Malleus gives the [h] haired male a genuine smile. He was becoming more interested in [Y]. He felt bad for not noticing him last year, but luckily this year he was finally able to make a genuine friend who isn't afraid of him.
“Ah…If I'm here, does that mean I can change the storyline? The story is starting to resolve around me. Ugh…I'm becoming the MC of this story now.” [Y] sighed. “I'm gonna need to accept my fate as the MC.”
“I'm starting to enjoy getting to know you, [Y]. Are you interested in knowing more about me?” Malleus asked. [Y] rubbed his chin before giving a nod, “Sure. I was kinda wondering what your hobbies could be.”
“I actually enjoy exploring ruins. I wanted to explore Ramshackle, but that one seems to be occupied.” the raven haired male answered. “Though, there are other ruins I can explore…”
“...Do you always go alone? It must be pretty lonely…” [Y] wondered.
“...” Malleus stared at the male for a brief moment before responding to the question, “Hm…now that you mention it, it does feel kinda lonely whenever I take a stroll. However, now that you're here, I don't think I feel so lonely.”
“What about you? I've always seen you by yourself. I can understand you wanted some alone time doing your sketch, but don't you ever feel lonely?”
“...Ah…I do look pretty lonely, don't I…?” [Y] put up a sad smile. “Don't worry, I'm not alone. I have them watching over me, but talking to you is…soothing.”
“...!” The raven haired male was taken back a little. He then covered his warm cheeks, not fully understanding the emotion he felt. Malleus looks away, “O…oh, I see. Glad I was able to satisfy you…”
“...? Are you ok? You're covering your cheeks.” [Y] tilted his head. The raven haired fae mutters an apology before removing his hands from his warm cheeks, “Sorry…”
[Y] chuckled, “There’s no need to apologize…!”
Malleus felt his heart flutter in his chest. He just thought that little chuckle was cute. The raven haired fae never felt this feeling before. What was it that Lilia called? Love at first sight? No, not at first sight. Perhaps “love at third sight”? He's uncertain about that.
“Malleus-senpai…?” [Y] called when he noticed the redness on Malleus' face. “Your face is red…”
“Ahem…Apologies, the night stroll is over. We should…head to the dorm…” Malleus looked away to hide his red face before teleporting away. [Y] sweatdropped at the swift exit, he was going to ask Malleus to teleport him to the dorm, but unfortunately he already left before he could say anything.
