The missing keeper

Chapter 12: Jess's pov

A/N: So here is the chapter that it took forever for me to write. This is for the few of you that asked for me to update. Hope you enjoy!

It was less than 3 days since we had gotten out of the prison known as underground Animal Kingdom. We got the message from an OTK this morning, and now we are running from our lives. Of course I've had dreams telling me that we all would end up in this sort of situation, but I never thought this is how it would end up. Let's first go back to this morning though.

5 hours earlier:
The message came from Finn's phone, but Willa and Philby quickly figured out it was actually some kind of OT or OTK. I really don't understand how they did it, but they did.

The message was 'meet us in Epcot and Animal Kingdom at 3 pm sharp so we could talk about the annoying scum you call friends. Now of course you think this is a trick, but I assure you if you don't come you'll never see them again.'

"What are we gonna do?" Jess said being comforted by Maybeck.

"Well obviously they want us to come, but first we have to talk about who that was from. How is Dillard back, we saw him die and then Finn was and still is a little traumatized by his death. It's not like OverTakers can bring people back from the dead. Right?" Maybeck says trying to get support from the others not wanting Jess to be worried.

"It actually would be possible for certain OTs to bring people back based on their powers, but that doesn't explain why they didn't resurrect Maleficent." Willa intervenes.

"I believe the solemn reason they didn't resurrect Maleficent was because she didn't want to share the power of the OTs. If you've noticed it wasn't till after she was gone that you saw most of the other large villains come out of the shadows. Also I think they have been planning the attack on us for a while and realized the best way to hit our leader is by bringing back his friend from before any of this Kingdom Keeper stuff happened." Philby says

"That's good enough for me." Jess says looking around for a moment getting reassuring nods from the others, "So are we going to go?" She asks them.

"I think we should. We have no idea what actually could be happening to them right now and even though it might be a trap, our friends need us." Charlene says.

"They do. So how are we planning on going? Since they said two different locations we know they are trying to split us up, but how do we want to split us since we're an uneven number now?" Jess asks.

"I say guys and girls. It's the obvious one but also the one that seems to work to get us out of situations the OTs have started. You guys good with that?" Maybeck asks and gets nods in return. "So it's settled. And Jess have you dreamed anything about this scenario?" He asks her.

"Well I don't know if it was this particular setting that it was taken place in but I have had dreams with different groups of us running from look like other kids. I'm guessing that would mean it would be a trap but only OTKs were sent. I don't really know." She says honestly.

"Well that's good to know at least. Look out for OTKs while were out there." Philby says.

"So is there anything else we should discuss?" Charlene asks

"I believe not. I guess we should just wait around then get going to get to our separate locations." Willa says.

So that's what got us here running for our lives. I really hope the guys had better luck than we did.

"Stop! It's not what you think!" We hear many voices say from behind us.

I look over at the others shocked faces. I turn around and stop, "what do you mean?"

"I mean that we have delayed the OTs so they don't know we are going to help you get your friends back." One of the guy OTK says as Willa and Charlene turn back and stand in a line next to me.

"And how do we know you're not lying?" Charlene asks them.

"Well you really don't, but we'll stay out in the open and we will stay 5 feet from one another. Plus I can promise you that the guys are being offered the same thing right now so try and think about what you all would do as a group." The same OTK says, clearly the leader.

"Are all of us safe at the moment the two groups plus Many and Finn?" Willa asks

"As of right now yes." A female OTK says.

The girls look at one another all agreeing, "go ahead and talk." Jess says.
