Trigger warning * knifes

Love it's like a shiny knife
That can hurt the heart by also taking a life
The sharp edges of the blade
The way it sticks out when they've been stroked, thrown or slayed
The silver or gold cord handle can hold any metal
And can stab you like hurting stomping on a petal
Love is all the same
With each heart, you can only blame
The heart is a delicate thing, considerate, concealed like a flower
But if you cut it with a knife, it can release a whole Lotta power
Good or bad heaven or hell
Love can be all or nothing like a spell
Doll baby or kitty
Nicknames are cute, funny and pretty
Letters are written, text, or pen
Plans don't always work out then
As the knife penetrate the skin
That you know down deep within
That was not the one for you
To your heart, you must stay true
Because in the end, another one will knife
Into your skin and time take your life
To try to protect yourself from that knife
