Third person pov.
"Darling Chaengiee, hurry up or we'll be late. It's not good to keep Mr. and Mrs. Myoui waiting," Mr. Son said, constantly checking his watch.
"Daddy, I'm done," Chaeyoung announced, running towards her father. Unfortunately, she tripped and fell. Mr. Son quickly helped her up, worry etched on his face. "Chaengiee, you should be more careful," he said, carefully checking if she had any bruises. "Don't worry, Daddy, I'm okay," Chaeyoung said proudly, playfully showing off her cute deep dimple.
"Is my baby growing up? So you're strong now," Mr. Son said, pinching Chaeyoung's chubby cheeks.
"Can I join your father and daughter sweet moments?" Mrs. Son asked, a smile on her face. "Look, Mommy, Daddy is so mesmerized by you," Chaeyoung said, noticing her father staring at her mother. "I'm not! Your mother should be the one mesmerized by my handsome face," Mr. Son said proudly, but Chaeyoung saw her father trying to hide his red face.
Mrs. Son laughed at her husband's words. "Let's go already, I don't want to keep Mr. and Mrs. Myoui waiting," Mr. Son said. He picked up Chaeyoung and they headed towards the car. Mr. Son opened the car door for his wife and daughter. "You look gorgeous, darling," Mr. Son said, smiling at his wife. "I know, darling," Mrs. Son replied with a smile, before they all got into the car.
During the ride, Chaeyoung asked, "Daddy, when I grow up, does that mean I'm not your baby anymore?" She pouted at the thought.
"Of course not, you'll always be my baby," Mr. Son reassured her, tickling her playfully. "No, hahaha! Da-ahhah, stop-hahah," Chaeyoung said, squirming away from her father. Mrs. Son watched the scene with joy, seeing her loved ones so sweet and playful.
"I love you, Mommy, Daddy," Chaeyoung said to both her parents and gave them a kiss.
After a long drive, they finally arrived at the Myoui's mansion. As they entered the house, they were greeted by the Myoui family. Mr. Son introduced his wife, Rose, and Mr. Myoui introduced his wife, Krystal. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Myoui," Mrs. Son said. Mrs. Myoui smiled and replied, "It's an honor to meet you too, Mr. and Mrs. Son."
"And who's this cute little girl hiding behind you, Mr. Son?" Mr. Myoui asked, noticing Chaeyoung shyly hiding behind her father.
"Go on, baby, introduce yourself. You're a big girl now, right?" Mr. Son encouraged her. "Good afternoon, Mr. Myo-" Chaeyoung started, but was cut off by Mr. Myoui.
"Just call me Uncle Kai, come here cutie and give me a hug," he said, kneeling down and extending his arms for a hug. Chaeyoung happily hugged him and introduced herself, "I'm Son Chaeyoung, Uncle Kai. Nice to meet you."
Mr. Myoui then introduced his daughter, Mina, and suggested that she and Chaeyoung play together.
"Hi, I'm Mina and I'm 5 years old," Mina introduced herself. But before she could finish, Chaeyoung cheerfully cut in, eager to make a new friend.
"You look like a cub, haha," Mina teased, causing Chaeyoung to pout in mock offense.
"We should head to the garden and have a little chat while waiting for dinner to be ready," Mrs. Myoui suggested. With that, they all made their way to the garden.
On the other side...
"No, I'm not, hmm!" Chaeyoung exclaimed, stomping her feet like a mad baby. "Look at you, you look like a penguin, bleee," Chaeyoung added, sticking out her tongue playfully.
"Well, I'm not going to talk to you," Mina retorted, walking away with a hint of attitude. "I'll just play by myself," she declared.
While the children were having their playful disagreement, their parents continued their conversation about life and business.
"Quit that formality, just call me Chanyeol," Mr. Son said, taking a sip of his wine.
"You're right, my friend Chanyeol," Mr. Myoui agreed, and they both burst into laughter along with their wives.
"How many years have you two been together?" Mrs. Krystal asked.
"Seven years already, and still counting. We're getting stronger every day," Mrs. Rose replied, looking lovingly at her husband Chanyeol. Chanyeol held his wife's hand and kissed it.
"Aww, how sweet. No wonder why your daughter is so beautiful and sweet," Mrs. Krystal commented. "Unlike some others," Mrs. Rose added, giving her husband a playful side-eye.
Mr. Myoui took a sip of his wine. "I'm so sweet, you see," he said, attempting to hug his wife.
After a while, Mr. Myoui asked the maids if dinner was ready. "Are you hungry, guys? Is dinner ready?" he inquired.
"Honey, please call the kids. Let's have dinner," Mr. Myoui said sweetly to his wife, giving her a kiss.
"Stop it, you're acting so sweet," Krystal said, still pretending to be sulking.
"But I really am sweet," Mr. Myoui insisted to his wife. "Honey, call the kids. Let's have dinner," he said again, this time to his wife.
Meanwhile...
"But you started it," Chaeyoung said, chasing after Mina. "I'm sorry, let's play, please. I want you to be Chaeyoung's friend," Chaeyoung pleaded, doing Aegyo (cute gestures) in the hopes that Mina would play with her. "Pwease, Mina unnie."
Mina found it cute, but she tried to hold back and wanted to tease Chaeyoung a bit more. "You're not cute, though," Mina said, teasingly.
"No, I'm cute! My daddy said I'm the cutest baby ever in the world! You're so mean!" Chaeyoung exclaimed. The two continued to tease each other that day. Afterward, Chaeyoung and Mina became good friends. Chaeyoung would often visit Mina's house to play together.
