Chapter 2

"Ha!"
With a clunch, two swords collided with each other. Two young man fighting against each other. But it seemed that one of them was lossing miserablely.

He was backing off but other one didn't seem to back off so easily. He swung his sword right at the man in front. He quickly saved himself by blocking the attack by his own sword.
" Agh..i-i give up!"
But the other one didn't back off.

"Already?" He pushed his sword a little for the other to bend down on his knee.

"Yes! Now let go."
Although, he was a little disappointed for the match to least this short but he still let him go. The former lay down and started to catch up his breath. The later sat besides him with his sword on the ground. They heard the sound of someone clapping. The looked at the direction and waved their hands at a women.

"Good job Alec. You're getting stronger every day." She smiled at him and then looked at the other young man.

" But you, you need to train more if you want to beat him, Den."
Alec stood up and helped Den to get up as well.

" Thank you aunt Coleen. But I think I'm still not strong enough."

"Aww, don't say that. You're still the strongest swordsman in this tiny town."

"Thank you once again, aunt Coleen."

The more Den listened to them talking, the more he felt like he was adopted.

"Mom I'm hungry. We are training since morning and I'm tired."

Coleen looked at his son with care but she still stated harsh reality . She shook her head and shrugged.

"What can I do to you? All you do is complain. If you don't train then how are you going to be strong? "
"But I am training."
" If you were, you wouldn't have lost this match."
"But mom-"

The two mother-son duo were always like this. This is what they call a happy family. Although, Alec was brought up here but they all treat him as their own. Listening to them fighting, a faint smile formed on Alec's face. This is nice. Even if it happens every day, it was still nice to be near your dear ones. The originally small smile turned into a laughter listening to them.

"Hey! Don't laugh and tell her that I am also strong."
"But you aren't."
"Hey! You are supposed to be on my side!"

Alec laughed at Den and Den hit him . Looking at them playing around, Coleen smiled.

"Are you guys so strong now that you can't help me in the storage room?."
" Okey!"
Both shouted at the same time and folloed Coleen to the storage room.

It was a mess of boxes and some unused stuff. There was a big Wooden closet. On top of that closet was some boxes full of books.

" You have to move that big closet out of here. I will be outside if you need anything."

Coleen instructed them and step out. Both of them looked at each other and then at the closet. Alec shrugged and started to clean the way. He lifted a big box and placed it aside.

" Hey Den, since when did we had this many books here?"
Den was also shocked and helped Alec clean the way.

"I don't know. But...ugh" he lifted the box and placed it aside. " Since we have them now, let's just clean this mess."
Alec looked at the box on the closet. "Alright. Help me get that box over there."

"Sure thing." Alec grabbed the box and pulled it so he can balance catch it. Den bent down to lifet the box that was left but as he stood straight, his head hit Alec's arm and the balance failed causing all the books fall on them with a Loud noise.
