How did you do?" arkin asked
"Find out who I was? Well apparently I look like my mom and got my dads powers so my uncle and aunt knew who I was and told me." I said "so you don't have all the cards now do you?
"How dare you challenge me?" He asks
"Like this." I said
I ran at him and he dogged my attack and pulled a bottle out of his coat. I went to hit him again and he had opened the bottle and thrown the contents in my face. I fell to the ground gasping as if it was wolfsbane. He poisoned me.
"Even powerful wolves can't counter the effects of wolfsbane dear niece." Arkin laughed.
He started walking to me and picked me up by the hair and hit me across the face, the dropped me to the ground.
"Summit and be done with this." Arkin spat.
I was not giving up. I didn't care, I shook my head and he sighed. Then he shifted into a large wolf. He was still of alpha blood so he was larger than normal wolves he jumped to pounce on me and I rolled out of the way barley. I started to get up but slumped to the ground. He came at me again, knocking me over. This time I was not going to let myself be weak. I started shifting. I shifted through the pain and stood up on all fours.
"I was larger than Arkin, my wolf form was huge. I had dark black fur with streaks of silver down my back. My eyes are as blue as the sky. His wolf backed a little and I lunged for him and got him by the neck and threw him across the circle. I was still weak but still stronger than him. The fall caused him to turn back. I shifted to my human form.
"How about you summit?" I barked at him.
"Never." Arkin spat.
"Fine I picked him up by the throat and squeezed. Till I heard a snap Arkins body slumped and I dropped him to the ground. The circle disappeared and I felt a surge of energy through me. I was alpha now.
"Izzy!" Caster yelled, as he ran and surrounded me in his arms I was still in pain with the wolfsbane in my lungs.
"He didn't kill them. " I shake my head "he brought them back, and saved them the witches I have to go."
I stood and ran to the other side of the territory. I was going to find them. I knew Caster was right behind me. I knew the way to the place that held me captive my whole life. After what seemed like hours I stood outside of the castle like pack house, my prison.
I walked to the doors and wrapped my hand on the handle. I took a deep breath and opened and walked down the familiar halls. I had walked before. I was stumbling still from the poison but kept going.
I stopped in front of the common room doors that were locked and I slammed into them. It took a few tries but the door fell. I walked in and my breath caught in my throat. I saw them all 2 through 22, all of them alive in this room.
"One!" 22 ran I fell to my knees and pulled her to a hug.
I cried then I felt a hand on my shoulder. Caster was there.
"He got you?" 2 asked
I shook my head "no and he won't ever be coming for you."
Caster helped me off the ground. I leaned on him and the wolfsbane was really tiring me out.
"And you" 3 looked at Caster
"He is my mate. Which is confusing now but I have the perfect person to explain, right now I need us to go home." I said.
Caster had someone bring 3 vans to take us home. Once we pulled in the driveway, I saw Arrah waiting. I got out of the car and gave her a huge hug. 22 ran up and grabbed my hand.
"Armin, I have a huge favor to ask of you. Would you go to Crimson powers and go through all of Arkins things to try to find their families if you could." I asked
"Of course and right now we have plenty of space and rooms for them to stay." Armin accepted.
"And I need to check you out, Luna." I saw the pack doctor walking up. " I hear you have been dosed with wolfsbane."
I sat in a chair and let the doctor do the examination. I look at Caster and he has a large smile on his face.
"Arrah, I think I have a way to make up for your birthday. And I asked him to come in." Caster announced.
"What do you mean..." Arrah started to talk but stopped
The door opened and Vincent walked in smiling. Arrah ran and jumped into his arms. I then realized Vincent was her mate and he has known for a while.
"Makes sense why you stayed as the driver now. She always needed a ride somewhere." Flint jokes.
"Excuse us, we are going upstairs now. See you latter" Arrah said bye.
Vincent picked her up in his arms and carried her upstairs.
"Well what an existing day" the doctor says "Now alpha, she is fine and the wolfsbane is almost nonexistent in her system now but I am going to take blood and have you come to the clinic tomorrow just to be sure.
"Thank you, we will." Caster shakes his hand.
