What If Floyd Came Back

Chapter 5

"Hey love birds," Isla said as Clay, Viva, and Coral came in.

"Hi Isla," Coral said.

"Ready for the party tonight?" Clay asked.

"Yep," Isla said.

"I'm ready," Ivy said.

In the kitchen Luna and Floyd were hanging out. 

Floyd had also changed over the years. His hair was still magenta pink but it covered part of his left eye. He wore ripped jeans, no shirt, and a black earring.

Luna's hair covered part of her left eye and was magenta and teal. She wore a teal and pink dress, denim jacket, pink bandanna, lilac and pink leggings warmers, and music note earrings.

"Hey bro," Floyd said.

"Hey Floyd," Clay said.

"What are you doing?" Coral asked.

"Baking for the party," Luna said.

"Cool," Coral said.

"You need help?" Clay asked, "Seems like a lot of work."

"Thanks," Luna said, "We're halfway there, but could use some help."

"How have you done so much so fast?" Coral asked.

"It goes faster when we work together," Floyd said.

Floyd and Luna have been close friends and best friends for years

Then they started to help Luna and Floyd.

"Hey guys," Skylar said, "Branch won't come down."

"What?" Clay said.

"He has to come down," Floyd said.

"Yeah," Coral said.

"Or he'll miss the celebration," Luna said.

"I tried to get him up, but he said that he's tired," Skylar said.

"Why don't we talk to him," Clay said.

And Clay and Floyd went to Branch's room.

"Branch?" Floyd said.

"It's time to get up," Clay said.

No response.

"Come on Branch," Clay said.

"Everyone is waiting for you," Floyd said.

Then Clay pulled off the covers.

"Guys," Branch said, "I'm tired and don't want to get up."

"Well if you don't get up," Clay said, "We'll make you get up."

"So why don't you just get up," Floyd said, worried about how Clay was going to wake Branch up.

"I said that I'm tired," Branch said.

"Okay," Clay said, "Guess Floyd and I are waking you up."

"Clay I'm not sure about this," Floyd said.

"Don't worry Floyd," Clay said, "I know just how to wake sleepy head here up."

Then Clay left and a few minutes later he came back with an airhorn.

"Are you sure that will work?" Floyd asked.

"It worked on John Dory all the time," Clay said, "I don't see how it won't work."

Then the airhorn blew and Branch got up.

"Clay!" Branch said, "What was that for?"

"To get you up," Clay said.

"I said that I was tired," Branch said.

"Are you sure," Clay said, "Because you seem awake to me."

"Well now I am," Branch said.

"Come on Branch," Floyd said, "Everyone's waiting for you."

"Well it's not like I'm going back to sleep after that," Branch said, "So I might as well get up."

Then Branch got up out of bed and came down with his brothers.

"He's up," Floyd said.

"There was a lot of noise up there," Coral said, "What happened?"

"Just an airhorn helping wake up Branch," Clay said.

"My goodness," Luna said.

"Yep," Floyd said.

"It was so loud," Branch said.

"I bet," Coral said.

"Any way are you ready for tonight?" Floyd asked.

"What's happening tonight?" Branch asked.

"The celebration," Clay said

"Do I have to go," Branch said.

"Yes," Clay said, "Everyone is going and we're performing."

"Plus Poppy is expecting all of us to be there," Floyd said.

"Okay I'll go," Branch said.

"Great," Clay said.
