Few days later, Grace and Charlie were out until they saw the tv through the window and they said that the 3rd golden ticket has been found by a girl named Violet Beauregarde

Later at night, Charlie and Grace entered in Mrs. Bucket's work at the Launderer

"Charlie, Grace, what are you two doing here?" Mrs. Bucket

"I thought if we were ready, we'd walk you home" Charlie said

"I wish I were" Mrs. Bucket said "but it looks like I'm gonna be here late tonight"

"Oh, well, then I guess we'll be going" Charlie said

"Well why don't you two stay a minute? Here, pull up a pile of clothes and sit down" Mrs. Bucket said and Charlie and Grace sat down "everything all right at school?"

"Yep" Charlie said

"Good" Mrs. Bucket said "go on your newspaper route today?"

"Just finished" Charlie said

"Good" Mrs. Bucket said

"We wanted to tell you something" Charlie said

"Oh?" Mrs. Bucket wondered

"They found the 3rd ticket today" Grace said

"Did they?" Mrs. Bucket asked

"Yeah. Well... guess we'll be going now" Charlie said and he and Grace were about to leave

"Is that all?" Mrs. Bucket asked

"Well I thought you'd like to know. Most people are pretty interested. I know me and Grace interested" Charlie said as he and Grace turned to Mrs. Bucket "there are only three tickets left you know. Just three. Pretty soon just two"

"And one" Grace said

"I wonder who the lucky ones will be" Mrs. Bucket said

"Well in case you're wondering if it'll be me, it won't be. Just in case you're wondering, you can count me out" Charlie said

"Charlie... there are a hundred billion people in this world, and only six of them will find Golden Tickets. Even if you had a sackful of money you probably wouldn't find one" Mrs. Bucket said "and after this contest is over, you'll be no different from the billions of others who didn't find one"

"But I am different" Charlie said "I want it more than any of them"

"Charlie, you'll get your chance" Mrs. Bucket said "one day things will change"

"When? When will they change?" Charlie asked

"Probably when you least expect it" Mrs. Bucket said and gave Charlie a kiss on the cheek "see you two later"

Charlie and Grace left and Mrs. Bucket watches them leave

Then the 4th golden ticket was found by another boy named Mike Teavee

Later at night, Grandpa Joe whispered to Charlie and Grace to come to him

"Why'd you wake us up, Grandpa? Is something wrong?" Charlie asked and Grandpa Joe pulls out a Wonka bar "grandpa, that money was for tobacco"

"I told you, Charlie, I've given it up. Go on, open it" Grandpa said "2 tickets left. Now let's see some of that gold"

But as Grandpa Joe handed the Wonka bar to Charlie, Charlie said "no, you do it. I can't"

"Somethin' tells me we're gonna be lucky this time" Grandpa Joe said as he rips the first layer "I've got a funny feeling inside. Which end shall I open first?"

"That end. Just a tiny bit" Charlie said

"Like this?" Grandpa Joe said as he slowly unwarps the tin foil

"Now a bit more" Grace said

"You finish it; I can't" Grandpa said as he hands the candy bar to Grace

"No, Grandpa Joe, you do it" Grace said

"All right... here goes" He opens the wrapper but no golden ticket

"You know" Charlie said "I bet those golden tickets make the chocolate taste terrible" and they hugged
