Being in Hasslet could only mean two things, either mom was sick and dad was out, or max verstappen had his home Grand Prix visitors list full. To Summer either of those options wasn't unusual, growing up with max and his sister by her side meant that they would always be together, no matter whatever could be going on.

When Max wasn't with them savannah verstappen and summer eve miller would be stuck to the hip, which wouldn't surprise anyone because they were the closest friends to ever exist. Either it was attending each others events or becoming emotional support for whenever the other needed it.

"Savy would you get me some food before the race im going to use the bathroom real quick" she asked

"you know it" she reassured "and by the way, grab something for your brother too, he might need it soon"

"oh don't act dumber than you are brother, it's summer for the win or else you'll have less of a brain than you already do" savannah laughs before excusing herself to get drinks

"aren't you a sweetheart sunshine" max tells me before leaning in to kiss my forehead, a gesture he'd have since we were young children

"oh stop you big old softie"

"but you love me as a softie why would you want me to stop" that reply could only bring butterflies to my stomach before reminding myself he was never going to see me as I have seen him for a few years now

"max emilian you know how to make a lady blush so you better know how to win a home race ok?" I tease before moving myself back to my seat watching him leave with a smirk on his face
