Unsent Message #7:
To Taylor:
I can't think when

Riley James, a seasoned actress, faced nervous anticipation as she attended her first Golden Globes ceremony as a nominee, nominated for her outstanding role in "Daisy Jones & The Six." Despite a decade of hard work, this project marked her first taste of critical acclaim. The actress gave everything of herself to the role, learning to sing, play the guitar and piano, and immersing herself in months and months of band camp alongside her co-stars.
So, it was easy to say she was extremely proud of the response the public and the industry have had to her performance and the show in general. Getting the nomination was already a high enough honor in her career and she was happy with just that. She was up against people she so deeply admired and respected and knew the likelihood of her winning was small. Still, the actress decided to attend the ceremony with her nerves and all to try and have the best time.
It was all going fine, she had had time to prepare herself for it, coming to terms with the fact that she was going to be in a ballroom alongside the most important names in Hollywood, but it wasn't until rumors that Taylor Swift would be in attendance that Riley actually started having second thoughts about attending.
Don't get her wrong, it's not that Riley James isn't a fan of Taylor Swift, it's actually quite the opposite. Riley is a HUGE Taylor Swift fan but, not only that, the actress has had a massive crush on the singer for so long and has refused to meet her on multiple occasions in order to avoid making a fool of herself. But tonight might finally be the day Riley simply can't escape it anymore.

Riley James sat in a California hotel room, surrounded by her style and makeup team, gearing up for the Golden Globes ceremony. The actress was set to wear a stunning lacy white Chanel dress with lilac details, along with a pair of long black silky gloves. Her usual brown her had been dyed black a week ago for an upcoming role and Riley was still trying to get used to it. Her crew buzzed around, making sure every detail was perfect.
Settled in a chair, coffee in hand, Riley chatted away with the people around her while her hair got the final touches. It was that moment when her publicist, Jane, made her entrance, all set and ready for the night ahead.
"Good morning, everyone! Hey, Riles. How'd you sleep?" Jane greeted, breaking the lively chatter.
Riley put down her coffee, offering a slight smile. "Slept okay, still a bit jittery but hanging in there."
"Okay, that's better than anticipated," Jane chuckled, pulling out her tablet from her purse. "Let's walk through your to-do list for the day." Riley just nodded, ready to dive into the organized chaos of the day.
"We're looking at about 5 interviews during the red carpet. You can choose who you're most comfortable with, but we've promised Variety a slot, so keep that in mind," Jane explained.
Riley nodded, absorbing the details. "Am I walking the carpet before or after the interviews?" she inquired, seeking clarity.
Jane looked up, contemplating. "I think they set it up so you can do a couple before and then a couple after, but we won't know for sure until we get there."
