The slapped echoed in the room creating a quietness between me and dad, to be honest it was comforting knowing if it could last long then my dad could just shut for a little while but also it was breaking me inside.
"You think that you can fool me?"
My dad crushed the poster he was holding. The crunching of paper was piercing my ears deep.
"Don't you dare to do something you are not worthy of, Moron."
I gulped the soreness down my throat processding to just nod.
He grabbed the liquor from the table while opening it with a pop sound, I witnessed him dumping the piece of paper down into the dustbin. He faded away getting smaller inside his room. I just smiled... Smiling is what heals me inside? No, it doesn't but it hurts me more feeling the pain, because I deserve it.
Grabbed the keys, closed the door, gently and had my hoodie on.
Hands on the mouths.... What a view to witness by your neighbour who loves your dad- pathetic.
"Are you ok?"
She gently patted my back. It broke me. 'Are you ok. No I am not.'
"Ye-yes"
The river of tears flowed down towards my cheeks and to the ground as I formed words, it is painful.
Embarrassing.... I pushed the other's hand off my back as I ran, ran from embarrassing or hurting myself even more. Just one more hit and I will be dead...inside.
The road was almost empty I wipped my tears off pushing myself of the the light in the dark street towards the wending machine. I shoved my coins in, This shit is not working! I hit it getting aggressive. A beep is what I heard next as two cans of red Bulls stroke down its way. I ordered for one though... Every fucking thing is broken. I sighed.
I noticed a light glimpsing through the dark surrounding, it was a park. Scared but curiousity is what I can feel.
"Aww"
Jisung saw a kitten getting patted.
The boy patting the kitten got scared as he looked back just to witness someone again he thought he could never.
They both slowly exchanged comforting smiles.
"What you doing here?"
Jisung kneels down to the ground as he attempted to make the kitten sit on his lap.
"Well, it's my safe place"
Minho smiled admiring the other's gentleness for the petite creature.
"It likes you"
The kitten licked the other's hand as it adjusted itself to nap upon Jisung's lap.
Jisung chuckled upon hearing this.
"Are you okay?''
A thin tread of concern tied Minho's thought as he looked at the glimpse of sorrow in the other's eye.
"I want to..."
Jisung paused his words not knowing how to explain something he is not meant to utter so casually.
"My dad is reckless, he is someone who would love to exploit youngsters in the entertainment industry but when I wanna do something for myself he just slaps me to shut me down. Ever since my mom cheated on him he has gotten more worse. I want to have a safe place but unfortunately it could never be my own home."
He dare not to look at the other. Jisung knows very well he did something he could never do even to someone close to him but his heart feels heavy and he just wanted to vent his feelings out as it overwhelmed him to his death.
"You're weird but I like that"
"I don't know what you wanna do but things are hard for you that's sure. Someone really said every kids deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a kid. I just can hope that you would shape yourself not like your dad but like someone you want to be."
"I was really disappointed in myself for not keeping the worth of my single working mother and my crush not liking me back even broken me more. But lucky me a hug from my mom and it healed me like magic."
Jisung just looked at the other in aw not really getting his words but the feelings were surely feeling him inside. He looked at other leaning his face a little.

He admired the other.
"I guess you need it too... Can I?"
Jisung just nodded not sure about anything when he felt comforting hands embracing him it was warm and considerate and was melting his heart inside. He smiled doing the same for the other.
Maybe it's a place to feel safe and comfortable.
