'Talent school' Chapter 5

Ash caught the ball after Kenshi, the opposite team's captain, delivered it from a corner. He then threw it fast to Bohyun. Bohyun received the ball, and passed it to Cosmin. Cosmin, after taking it on his chest, dribbles through two of Kenshi's defenders, and crosses the ball to Hanzo. Hanzo heads it into the net, for a two goal lead. He then goes to fist bump Cosmin. "Good cross." Cosmin smiles slightly. "Thanks. Good heading." Hanzo then goes back to his position. "Thanks."

After some minutes, the teacher blew his whistle, and the match ended. Cosmin's team won 3-1. Kenshi came to him, and the captains shook hands. Kenshi glared at him. Then, another player from Kenshi's team comes at Cosmin. "Takeda. Don't mind Kenshi. He can be a little.. too serious sometimes, he forgets to have fun." Cosmin fist bumps him. "It's the tournament's pressure giving in. Same for me.." Takeda then looks at Kenshi, that was about to call him. "I gotta go. Nice dribbles by the way." Cosmin waved. "You too, thanks."

The teacher then calls everyone. "Over here, everybody! I got an announcement to make." Everyone hurried to listen. The teacher begins. "Firstly, I'll say that you all have to step up your game. As you know, getting at the tournament is our school's main goal. So, everyone, try your best, and you may be selected in the final team. Secondly, you are free for the rest of the week, because I'm occupied." Everyone looked at each other, feeling confused as why the teacher is busy.

"Now, each of the teams will have its last training session of the week, separately. You are going to do dribbles, passes, defending and attacking scenarios, set pieces and goalkeeper trainings. After that, one hour in the gym." Everyone thought the same thing, so Cosmin asks him. "But, teacher, isn't it a little too much? We could get muscle injuries!" The teacher scoffs. "NO excuses! You MUST prepare for the tournament! IMPROVE!" Everyone sighs, rolls their eyes and return to their part of the field. The team proceeded to continue to train hard for the rest of the day.

Cosmin calls his team. "C'mon, y'all. We can do this!" Bi Han scoffs. "Hmph, easier said than done, you know.." Cosmin reassures him. "I don't want to do all of this either, Bi Han." Kuai pats his shoulder. "Yeah, brother. After we qualify, we will go easier. Just have patience." Bi Han then gets up. "Ugh, you're right. Let's do this."

Kuai comes with an idea. "We can take turns so that we have short breaks in between." Cosmin smiled. "Good idea, Kuai! For the first training, we will separate in groups of two. You will be with Bi Han, and me with Hanzo. Bohyun, you and Ash don't need to train at dribbling, so you'll just start from passing." After the practice, Cosmin stayed at highschool to train. He dribbled through every mannequin, and shoot the ball hard, but it only hit the bar. "DAMN!" "Oh, let me guess! Next, it's gonna start raining!" After 2 minutes....... it started raining. The team had to go home, as tomorrow would be a day off to favor the basketball talent classes.

Thursday came, and Cosmin saw two female basketball teams compete against one another. He is anticipating to see two people, but he has not seen them yet. Finally, the match was over, and he awaits some familiar faces. But he was not greeted by anyone, except for one familiar face that he had hoped he would never see, Jessica. Jessica stood to him and spoke. "Hey, I am looking for Ryujin's class. Do you know to which talent class that scared little girl went to?" Cosmin responded, berating her. " Oh shut it you spoiled brat, you know I would never let you near her. You're just a bully anyway." Jessica chuckled. "Ahahahahahah! And to think you can learn any better. Look, what are you guys doing here? You should give her a visit sometimes, you know? I mean, like you never visited her class, right? What kind of friend are you guys. I just want to do the right thing, give her a little visit like a real friend would do. You guys are just fake friends, Ryujin will realize it one day. I will find her soon. And if not, I'm gonna make you tell me where she studies."
