     When her eyes open the first thing Raven feels is a screaming headache. The rest of her body is sore but not unbearable. The next thing her mind registers is a soft pillow and a warm blanket. For a second she wonders if she was dreaming till reminding herself that she wouldn't be in pain if it was a dream. Is she ready to face Zel? Is he mad at her? Just the thought brings tears to her eyes. Looking around the room she's in she knows she isn't in her own room. Turning to the side she almost jumps, seeing Zeldris sleeping in a chair next to the bed. He looked so calm in his sleep like nothing in the world was wrong. Slowly sitting up Raven winced at the sharp pain. Zeldris moved and shifted slowly, opening his eyes. The moment there eyes locked Raven began crying and Zeldris's eyes lost there onyx color become ig the beautiful emerald she loved so much. Raven babbled apologies full on sobbing at this point and all Zeldris could do was wrap his arms around her tears starting to fall from his own eyes. Once tears dried they laid on the bed just holding each other till Zeldris spoke"What happened to your wings?" His voice was soft knowing the answer was not going to be good "Your father took them. Then cursed me a slow death. He believed I was brainwashing you so he punished me" Zeldris held her closer shielding her from the very dark look on his face "I knew you werent hurting me, and I knew you never wanted me sealed. You just wanted the war to end" Raven's eyes teared clinging to Zel even more just thankful he was here "I did, but not at the cost of you" feeling him all around her and his scent calmed her, just as it also helped him. Zeldris knew the curse his love was under and seeing it so close to her heart scared him. Slowly he kissed the marks making her sigh in relief. His dad may have cursed her but his touch calmed the curse lessening the pain. He kissed her lips finally after all this time.
