Draco was walking down the corridor to his potions classroom. He was feeling very happy because Snape was his favorite professor and favored the Slytherins more than the stupid Gryffindors. That was until he saw Harry Potter. The Boy Who Lived. Harry was wearing a black leather jacket over his uniform and had sunglasses on even though they were inside. He was smoking a cigarette with Hermione and Ron. None of the teachers lectured him because they were scared he’d tell on them to Dumbledore.

“Well if it isn’t Malfoy, going to class nerd?”

Draco flinched away from Harry. Harry loved to bully Draco because of his pure-blood status, which used to mean you were the elite in the school, but that changed when Harry came to school and was a half-blood. Now everyone wanted to be like him.

“I’m just trying to get to potions class,” Draco said, his voice shaking.

Draco tried to push past Harry, but he stuck his arm out and stopped him.

“I think you’re forgetting something.”

Draco quickly got out the papers and handed them to Harry.

“I finished up all your homework and even the extra credit for Trelawney’s class.”

Harry flipped through the pages and smirked.

“Alright you can go.”

Draco started walking when Harry dropped the pages on the ground, letting them scatter through the hallway.

“Go on then Malfoy, pick ‘em up.” Harry said as he pulled out his wand.

Draco slowly started picking up the papers when Ron said,

“C’mon Malfoy, you can do it quicker than that.” And shot a spell near Draco, startling him and causing him to trip on his robes and fall face first on the ground. He started picking up the papers while crawling on the ground.

“Look at him scurrying around the ground like a fat ferret.” Harry shouted as the students in the corridor snickered. The teachers and Dumbledore had come out of their classrooms now. Draco picked up the last paper and handed it to Harry, willing himself not to cry in embarrassment. That was until Dumbledore said,

“Ten points to Gryffindor, for teaching a student some humility.” Now all the teachers and students were laughing and Draco ran away, tears filling his eyes as he heard Harry shout,

“Where you going, Malfoy? To tell your father about this!”
