alright real quick before we start I need to note a couple things
1. obviously if you've played the game or at least watched someone play it, you'll know the game goes based on your choices, and since I'm the one writing this book that means its going based off my choices, so if you don't like that either deal with it or don't read
2. Like in the games choices come up when you talk to a character or just do something in general. In this book I'll occasionally show some choices for y/n but it won't be all the time, just when I feel like I wanna add it

Fast footsteps echoed around the hallway. the man running was carrying a boy no less then 5 years old. but the strength to carry the boy was weakening as his body was covered in multiple burn marks along with other things. however that didn't stop him, infact it only pushed him to keep moving. fortunately for him, the double doors that led outside came into view
???: d-dad! where's mom?!
??? 2: d-dont...inhale...the smoke..
His voice raspy and throat completely dry made it hard to talk. finally after a few more steps, the man held the boy closer just before he burst through the door. but that was all the man had left in him as just after a few more steps, he fell to the ground while making sure the boy didn't hit his head on the ground
??? 3: OH MY GOD?!
??? 4: WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!
??? 5: HEY THERES SOMEONE HERE!
multiple civilians were scared at the terrifying sight before them. fire fighters, police officers, and paramedics were all at this scene trying to help. but somehow none of them noticed the man who just came out the building, but a stranger did
??? 5: DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME?!
Officer: sir please do not step any closer!
??? 6: LOOK OVER THERE!
??? 7: SOMEONE NEEDS HELP!
the officer quickly turned around and saw the burnt man laying on the floor
Officer: oh shit!
The officer hurried to check on the man but as he did, he saw a figure just underneath the man. once he realized that it was a child, he called over a paramedic to help and as they pulled the boy and father away from each other, the innocent 5 year old saw a sight he would never forget
???: .......
The apartment building the boy and his small family lived in.....was engulfed in flames. The sound of adults freaking out, crying, and noise the fire made.....brought a terrified look to boy's face
