Chapter 2 ~ Surprise

                                                Afternoon - Shopping

Going shopping cleared my mind a bit. I kept trying not to think about Kendall. I mean he was my crush two years straight. I stopped liking him this year. Anyways I couldn't stop thinking about what he did and said to me.

I'm a bit over dramatic.

He doesn't know me.

I don't know him.

I think its better of that way. I mean he wouldn't like me anyway.

Wow.

I'm doing a good job of trying to forget about him!

Anyways... Shopping!

We headed into Forever 22 and shopped for some clothes.

"This top is fabulous!" Paige said.

Ding!

"Who's texting you ?" Asked Paige curiously.

"My Mom." She say's I need to come home in 1 hour so she can tell me something."

"Lets just shop right now and not think about that!" Paige said excited.

"Your right" Scarlett said picking up dresses.

1 hour has passed and Paige dropped me off  at my house.

"Bye Paige!"  Scarlett yelled waving.

I opened the door nervously to see  my mom pacing  back and forth.

"What's wrong mom?" I asked nervously.

I sit down at the kitchen table . She sits beside me.

" I have to go on last-minute  a business trip to Florida. "I  leave tomorrow."

I couldn't describe how I felt.

I was mad. Mad she was telling me now.

I was sad. Sad she was leaving.

I was...Disappointed. Disappointed she didn't tell me.

"You need to stay at my friend's house." Mom said biting her nails.

"Can I be excused?" I said.

"Yes honey." she said

I went up to my room and changed into my favorite Pj's.

Pink and Blue polka dots.

I went  to sleep.

                                               Morning-Tuesday

Same routine as yesterday.

I woke up. Took a shower . Brushed my hair.

I wore a Orange blouse with a white skirt. I wanted to try something new so I took my mom's Orange high heels.

I went downstairs an made eggs and sat done.

Mom walked in and  had a black suit on.

"Morning sunshine" she says kissing my head.

"Hey mom"

"Remember you need to pack once you get home from school." mom explained.

"Alright" Bye mom see you later!"

The rest of the school day was BORING!

At lunch I ate in the library to avoid the "popular group"

                      Afternoon-packing

I ran up to my room once I got home.

Mom came home 3 minutes after I came home.

I packed all of my nice clothes.

Because sometimes you have to dress to impress.

Besides I don't know who they are.

I finished packing.

"Sweetie we leave in 2 hours!"

I ran to the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth. Flossed them. Took some breath mints.

I took off my clothes and got into the bathtub.

I filled it up to the top and put some bubble bath soap in my bath.

It was at least an hour after I got out of the tub.

I went into my room and searched my closet for some fancy clothes.

I came out wearing a tropical dress with some high heels with crystal's on them.

I went to my mom's room and got some make-up and put some light green eye shadow. Some pink blush and red lipstick.

I put my hair into a side braid and heading downstairs with my luggage.

Mom was waiting at the door.

"You ready?" she asked

" I was born ready"  I told her.
