Lost in disguise

Chapter 5

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, I grabbed my phone and picked up.

"Where the hell are you!".Cat screamed
"Urm still at Abel's house". I felt guilty not telling Cat.
"I was worried sick, come back by 2 I want to go shopping". She said calmly.
"Okay Cat".

I got up and went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth with a spare toothbrush, then tidied my hair up.

I walked out of the room and walked downstairs. I yawned, thinking nobody was downstairs, but then a familiar voice spoke.

"Still sleepy". Abel chuckled.
"Yeh". I held my hands up to stretch, lifting up my top to reveal my bottom half. I was so embarrassed, I was wearing a pair of panda underpants.

"Panda panties..nice". He laughed, I couldn't resist not laughing, so I let a little giggle out.

"You can eat breakfast I'll drop you off in a bit", he smiled.

Abel said I could keep the t-shirt. I refused but he insisted. I got into last nights clothes and waited in the living room for him to come down and drop me off.

We didn't speak much in the car and by the hour the atmosphere got more awkward. Until I broke it realising some weight of my shoulders

"Last night was fun, I hope we can hang out again", I said looking at him.
He nodded,"Yeh it was jokes, your different from everyone else".

For the whole car ride I was wondering what he meant by different, did he mean it in a good way or bad way. I just couldn't tell, the weight was back on my shoulders again.

His phone kept ringing, but he didn't care to pick it up. I didn't think much of it and didn't want to put him on the spot and ask questions.

"Thanks for dropping me off home".
"No problem".

We both stood awkwardly for a few secondly, before he leaned in for a hug. The hug was long, but more friendly then romantic. He had a nice warm smell.

I opened the door and walked inIris was right next to the door tiding up some things.

"Hey Hun, Cat's upstairs she's being waiting for you".

I walked into our room and saw cat on her phone.

"Hey Cat!". I said jumping into her bed and hugging her.
"Urm you might want to see this". Cat handed me her phone. She was a news website, it was a article about...
