Dean touched his forehead to mine and smiled.
"You know, I really like this shirt on you." He joked.
I smiled, looking into his eyes.
"We should go, the girl that my ex boyfriend was with, is probably going to call the cops. But first..."
I said, walking over to the girl. She was dialing a number, probably 911, as she crouched over Carter. I tapped her shoulder and she looked up at me, I punched her in the nose.
I didn't check to see if she was okay or not, I just turned around, looked at Dean and smiled.
"Let's go." I said, laughing.
Dean grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

Back at the motel, I decided I wanted a girl outing tonight. So I told Dean and called my friends, Kat and Aaliyah. They both said that they were free tonight so we decided to go to Cheesecake Factory. I'm not a fancy person, but my friends are somewhat fancy so Cheesecake Factory it was.
I know I'm supposed to dress up for it, but I don't feel like it. So I just threw on the nicest t-shirt I had and some jeans. Then, I put on some subtle makeup, a seldom occurence, I can assure you. I do not like makeup. But I need to make up for my lack luster attempt at dressing up for dinner. And all I really have for shoes, is sneakers and flip-flops. So I just picked my nicest wedge flip-flops. They had a gem flower on top and it was the fanciest pair of shoes I own. Usually girls have like, dozens of heels and flats, but not me. If it isn't comfortable, then I'm not wearing it.
I grabbed my bag, told Dean goodbye and left for Cheesecake Factory.

We sat down at a table in a corner. Aaliyah talked about her boyfriend, Toby and Kat talked about her boyfriend, Johnnie. Aaliyah and Toby are doing great. But Kat and Johnnie aren't doing as well. They're finally getting serious but he's starting to show true colors and turns out, his true colors aren't too pretty.
But then Aaliyah asked the question I was dreading:
"So how are things with Carter?"
My stomach flipped.
"Oh, yeah... him. Well, I found out that he..kinda...cheated on me." I said, my voice trailing off at the end.
"What?!" Aaliyah and Kat exclaimed in unison.
"Yeah, well, I'm sure you heard about that mysterious death in the KSU dorms. The victim was my roommate."
I paused at Kat and Aaliyah's gasps of sympathy and horror. I trailed into a somewhat different topic.
"You probably don't, but, do you remember Dean Winchester from high school?" I continued, my voice getting more and more quiet.
"Yeah, of course I remember Dean!" Kat replied, a little too earnestly.
"Yeah, I remember Dean." Aaliyah said.
"Okay, so I called him when I found Elena." I said.
"I don't know why I called him in particular." I lied.
"But after he came, I asked him if we could go check on Carter because he hadn't been responding and I was worried." I said, embellishing the facts here and there.
I felt so guilty for it too.
"So Dean drove me down there and we found him with another woman. And then Dean knocked him out and I knocked out the girl. Their may have been a stolen kiss or two along the way." I told them.
"Ooo!" Aaliyah said, winking and nudging me.
I rolled my eyes at her and laughed.
"I know we've kissed and I know that he let me borrow his shir-" I was cut off by a happy gasp from Kat.
"I'm sorry, go on." She suppressed her smile and giggle.
I sighed and continued,
"I know he let me borrow his shirt, but he hasn't necessarily said anything about being with me or any actual feelings for me. And you know that he was the 'love em and leave em' type. He never really got serious with anyone. I don't know what to do about it because I think I love him. And I feel like he loved me when we were dating in high school. Maybe he can again now that we met again." I finished.
I was so glad to have finally unloaded my feelings on someone.
"Awww, Bekah you should totally go fo-" But Aaliyah was cut off by the ringing of my phone.
I unzipped my bag and grabbed my phone.
Dean Winchester
The screen lit up with his name. I held up the phone to show Aaliyah and Kat. Then I answered the call.
I expected Dean's voice, but instead heard Sam's frantic one.
"Bekah!" He exclaimed.
"Oh, hi Sammy." I said, somewhat confusedly.
"Bekah, it's Dean. He's been in a car accident. It was pretty bad. He's in critical condition and he's at Mayo Clinic. The one by the motel we were at. Please, get here quick!" He rushed and then he hung up.
I slowly lowered the phone from my ear and stared down at my hands.
"Oh god." I whispered.
"Oh god, please let him be okay." I repeated as I stood up.
I pushed in my chair and said, "It's Dean. He's been in an accident. I have to go. I'm sorry."
And with that, I ran out the door and ran for the hospital.
