'Who Am I?' - Chapter 13 - 'Their Conversation'

Y/N POV:

I look through a small gap in the boot and see...San? But where are the rest of them? I lean closer towards the door and rest my ear on it to get a better hearing on what he's saying. I hear him speak to Soobin in a low and cold tone, a tone to scare anybody off. But to me he just sounds like a total jerk.

San: Is everything ready for the trip? 

Soobin: Yes sir, all that is left is for the new recruit to set up his things an-​

San: Oh okay- Omo!!! Is that a fox!?!?! Can I have it???

His voice was high-pitched and excited, like a little girl who just got a puppy for her birthday.

Y/n: *whispers* Aishhh, not Hunter.

As soon as San had a hold of Hunter I was immediately pissed, I was going to come out of hiding and strangle him to death if he even made a mark on him. I glared at him with anger hoping he would feel an angry pair of eyes watching him because.....I thought Mafia's were supposed to sense this stuff, well....clearly not this Mafia. 

I glanced at him again and chuckled to myself once I saw how San was holding Hunter in his arms, one arm cradling slowly from side to side gently and his other hand playing with it, as if he was holding a real baby. I've never seen San behave like this in all the days I've spent here, he's either an arrogant fool or a cold jerk. Who knew San had a heart?

Soobin: Sir, what will you do with the fox?​

San: What kind of a dumb-ass question is that, it's obvious I'm gonna keep it with me like it's one of my own.

I can see Soobin staring towards me, his face washed in guilt and sorrow. It's okay though, I forgive him, that fucker would harm him and his family if he didn't disobey any of them, he really had no choice. And besides, I'll think of a way to get Hunter back, but right now I'll focus on what's going to happen when this thing gets moving. They really think they can have everything their way- tch. Not on my watch.

TIME SKIP – AUTHOR POV:

After San goes to put Y/n's fox in his room and to tell Hongjoong and the rest of ATEEZ everything is ready, Y/n opens the boot door a little and threatens Soobin.

Y/n: IF THAT FOX IS HARMED BY SAN THEN THE BOTH OF YOU WILL GAIN VERY SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES. 

(A/N: Y'all thought she really forgave him? Nahh. She's not that type, she was just saying that to make her sound nicer.)

Soobin: What, why me?

Y/n: Because you gave him the fox.

Soobin: I-I wouldn't exactly say gave him the fox, in my defence he snatched it off me.

Y/n: What are you, three? How can you let that brat steal an animal from your arms? Especially when it's MY animal, that I found.

Soobin: I didn't have a choice but to do so.

Y/n: Fine I'll let you off, but if something happens like this again, expect a full rainbow on your face when you wake up:)

Soobin: A rainbow? Like with paint? 

Y/n: Are you- No! I meant bruises. Haiyyyyaaa~ I thought you were a smart boy.

Soobin: Well you thought wrong.

Y/n: I realised-

Soobin: Sshhhhh, I hear them, quickly but the boot down, stay safe don't die or the fox gets it.
