Reggie and Jack sat under the tree of where they had first met. They gazed up above at the twinkling stars, seeing if they could spot a constellation. Reggie was quite the scrawny figure compared to Jake. Reggie often felt a bit awkward of the hight and muscle difference, but Jake was happy and he was too. Reggie was also often weird around Jake. He was pretty awkward with Jenny too, but something about Jake was simply different, and he probably never realized either. When he'd run into Jake, he'd feel his face burn and his feathers stand up on his body. He'd feel safer with him, cling onto his wing for comfort and love when he would pull him in for a hug, clasp his feathers against his, or just simply sitting next to him. With Jenny, he'd be excited to see her too but it wasn't exactly that same rush with Jake. But regardless, Reggie swore he loved her.
Reggie and Jake were star gazing together beneath the shade of an oak tree. Jake pointed up at the sky with one of his feathers. "Look Reg, the great turkey in the sky!" He said calmly, placing his wing on Reggie's shoulder and holding him closer to him.
Reggie felt his cheeks heat up and turn a bright red. He smiled calmly and looked up at the stars, trying to hide his blushing face from Jake."You're really tense tonight," Jake pointed out, "more than usual actually, what's up?"
"Ah, nothing really," Reggie reassured him.
