My alarm disturbs deep sleep blaring on the side of my face as it reminds me to wake up because it's Monday.

I softly groan as I turn in my bed to find that deformed but most comfortable position to fall asleep again and sleep away my problems. Not a minute passes before a small knocks come from the other side of my door.

My mom's voice comes through a small crack in the door as she opens it slowly. Another reminder to wake up, get ready, and head off to school. Some people might like Mondays, and some may not. I am one of the Not.

My week is pretty short and easy now that I'm almost finished with school, at least. I have six classes, and I leave before two in the afternoon. Our school district decided to go with the most trending trend of other schools: taking Fridays off and converting a five-day week into a four-day week.

Honestly, I'm not mad about it. It's pretty cool, but when long breaks come into our picture, that's when things get crazy. Teachers having to fit a lot of materials in two weeks before the break comes and also final, saying this from experience in two different schools, it's always the same thing.

After ten minutes of contemplating my life, I finally do my cat stretch and get up. I walk to my bathroom and do my morning routine. Once I'm done, I get my outfit, get ready, and head to the kitchen to make some breakfast before heading out.

I decided to go with oatmeal with a little cinnamon, and for lunch, some tortellini pasta with Alfredo sauce and some homemade orange chicken on the side. I've been craving a mix of Italian and Chinese food, and it hits that special spot in your mouth that just waters it.

With my backpack already in my car and my lunchbox ready, I head out to my car in the garage. The school is not that far away, but knowing there's some traffic because of the elementary, intermediate, and middle school drop-offs, I know my route of choice.

Because of this type of situation, I'm grateful my school has a back-way to the parking lot. The ride to school was a calm one. No one overtook others, blew horns, and people were following the speed limit.

Arriving at the parking lot is where things get a little... carried away. Kids making out outside the car, groping each other, and acting like they were on some serious pornography tape.

The nerds dressed in their cosplays.

Footballers were looking for fresh meat in the cheerleading area.

Cheerleaders were looking for some abs to get their fingers through and have their one-night stand.

Mean girls, some of whom are on the cheerleading team, either had their boyfriends by their sides, trying to make other girls jealous, or were leaning into their expensive cars and throwing mean looks at anyone who looked at them.

Kids who were in any school program were either inside the school because of their bus dropping them off or meeting with their upperclassmen friends. People like me stayed in their cars, staying far away from the crowd, in order to mentally prepare for the day.

Bell rings, and people rush to their classes. I decided to not complicate my life with hard homework or classes until I graduated, so I have statistics as my first class in the morning.

For the moment, it's not that bad. I understand everything we're doing in there. The teacher walks in, and he's the coach of one team in the boys' athletic group. He's also one reason I like this class in the morning. There's always some sort of music, ten minutes of silent class time, and he explains and helps you understand the topic we're on. For the moment, we are learning how to calculate interest or whatever.

First period has finished, bells ring again, and silent hallways become noisy ones as students rush to their classes or find their friends to catch up with the negligible amount of drama there is at the beginning of the morning.
