The Never Ending Story

Jolie was wondering the halls of foxfire marveling at the fanatical artwork placed ever so carefully on the sleek wooden walls

she bumped into what she assumed was a person

she heard a shriek from behind her

Jolie turned around to find a petite girl who appeared to be doing the same thing

"i'm sorry i didn't see you there!" the girl said

"that's alright" Jolie says gratefully "after all I wasn't watching where i was going either"

the girl laughed "well, I'm Ellianna, but Ella if its easier" she says playing with the strap of her satchel

"nice to meet you"

"I'm Jolie, and you can call me Jolie"

they both laugh at that

"so what class do you have next?" Jolie asks Ella

"umm...History looks like" she says looking at her schedule

"oh, really?" Jolie takes a quick glance at her own schedule"me too" "nice" Ella says "wanna come with me?" she asks

"sure" Jolie replies happy to not be alone

the girls walk on asking questions back and forth

"so are you new to the school?" Ella asks "i haven't seen you around" "no" Jolie says "i've been here since level two" "my parents waited to put me in school because they where busy with what they now call "work" Jolie says making quotation marks with her fingers

Ella smiles but tries to hide it with her hand 🤭

" I wonder why I've never ran into you before?"

"but we did" Jolie says smiling "literally!" they laughed

then Jolie asks "so do you like art?"

"yes" Ella replies "i do" "and i just couldn't help staring at these beautiful paintings of our past"

Jolie nods "i wonder who paints these pictures"

"that is a good question" 

a male voice says from behind them they turn around to find a taller figure with jet black hair and an electric blue tunic that demands attention and shows authority

"Master Leto!" Jolie says smashing him with a hug" he laughs "hello,Jolie" "hello, Ellianna" he says as he gives her a smaller hug she smiles 

"are you girls headed to class?" he said as he cocked an eyebrow at Jolie

he always wondered if she would follow in her fathers footsteps and be a school troublemaker she kept the pranks to a minimum mostly focusing on her grades and not making enemies

though she wasn't sure how she felt about her grandparents lady Gisela and lord Cassious they where in the in between

 "yes" Ellianna says nudging Jolie and snapping her out of her current thoughts "we are"

"yes" Jolie agrees with a soft smile "we should get going" she said grabbing Ellianna's arm

"it was nice talking to you though Master Leto" Jolie says 

as the girls start running off to class after offering small waves
