Working at sunrise café, has always been fun for me. Hi I'm Ashley Valentino, a girl that is shy but does a good job at waitering. That's my job at Sunrise café.
Anyway, Mafias has taken over the town and it is stressful, most of the people who stayed here moved because of the Mafias taking over. I stayed because I didn't want to leave my friends and the café. The café was the one place I could rest from all my family problems, my dad is an alcoholic and my mom smokes, but they are trying to stop with their addictions. My sister, she isn't at home most of the time which is why I don't have a good relationship with my sister.
But enough of that, me and my friend, Carla, both work at Sunrise café so we see each other everyday. We were both waitresses.
Customers came in and took a seat at an open table. I went to table 5 to take their orders and Carla went to table 3. "Hi, I'm Ashley, what can I get started for you guys?" I said to them. They said their orders and I wrote it down in my little book. I said that it will be here soon and went behind the counter where there is a little window where we give the orders to the chef, then I started with making the coffees and a chocolate milkshake.
When that was done I brought the two coffees and the chocolate milkshake to them, and then after giving them their drinks, their food was finished. I put their food on the tray and went to give it to them. Carla smiled at me and I smiled back, we both got behind the counter, but not even seconds, the door opened meaning that there is another customer. But not an ordinary customer.
I turned and there were three nicely dressed men. They went and sat down at one of the booths. I went and got their orders, I got my book and pen and went to their table.
"Hi, I'm Ashley, what can I get started for you guys?" I said. They looked up at me and I started to get nervous. The man looks at me and started speaking. "Hi, could I get a latte and bacon and eggs please." He said and I wrote it down. The other two men started saying their orders as well and I wrote them down. "It will be here soon." I said with a nervous smile.

I got back behind the counter, I gave the chef. "What?" I asked. They look very attractive, right?" Jessica said( one of the waitresses) "Yeah they do." I said. They looked at them for a while before going back to their job. I finished their drinks and the food was half way done. I went back to their table and gave them their drinks.
I got back behind the counter to see if their food is done and they were done but I got stopped by my best friend. "You know he can't stop looking at you" Carla says to me. I looked at him without turning my head and he was staring at me. "He is." I said looking back at my best friend. She smiled at me and said "maybe he likes you" and that came as a shock to me "why would a man like a girl working at a café?" I said to her but realised that I still have their food in my hand so before she could answer that I excused myself and walked to their table to give them their food.

"Here is your food, hope you enjoy it" I said with a quick smile and then left. I made myself a bubblegum milkshake which is my second favourite, chocolate is my first.
My best friend, Carla, is eyeing me and keep telling me that he likes me. He is hot but I don't think he would date a girl who works in a café. Other customers came in and the other waitresses went and took their orders.
They finished eating and drinking, so I went and took their plates and glasses. They then stood up and walked towards me, while the other waitresses look. But the man couldn't stop looking at me for some reason. I handed them the card machine and he got his card out and paid. "Have a great day" I said as they left, before the door closed I heard a "you too"." I hope they come back again" one of the waitresses said. "Yeah I hope so too." I said to them. I went and cleaned where there were coffee or milkshake spills, I asked if I could help with anything else but they said no and that means I can go home.
My shift was now over and it was time to close the café for the day. I have a shift tomorrow as well as the whole week. I got all my stuff and went to my car which I got for my birthday, and made my way back home.
