As we all started walking to our class, I still stared at Applebaum. I had this feeling which I never felt before. He turned around a little and we made eye contact. I quickly looked away not wanting him to get grossed out.

When we got to the classroom, mrs. Giraud was already waiting for us. Michele greated the teacher and she ignored her.

Since Simone and Michele were going to sit next to each other, I sat behind them. I looked around the class and there were still some boys staring. I looked down at my desk.

Annick came in the classroom and she looked around to find a seat. There was one next to Pichon, right in the front row. She made her way to the empty seat and sat down.

"Look! Piggy Pichon is going to shit himself." I heart a boy with brown hair and glasses speak. He was the one I saw sitting on a bench in front of the school with his friends around him. He did look handsome, but his attitude was a no for me.

"I'm mrs. Giraud, your homeroom teacher." the teacher spoke looking around the classroom.

"Excuse me, miss. What do you think your doing?" she looked at Annick and Annick looked at her confused.

"Do you think it's acceptable to sit next to a boy? Get up and go at the back."

Annick started getting her stuff to move to the back, but mrs. Giraud quickly stopped her.

"Not you. Him." she said indicating to Pichon. Pichon got pale again and he looked like he wanted to protest.

"But I won't be able to see from the back!"

"No excuses! Move to the back! Now!"

Pichon got up and started walking to the back. The boy who was talking bad about Pichon earlier had placed his foot in front of him to make him trip. I noticed it and I wanted to tell Pichon, but it was too late. Pichon tripped and almost all the boys laughed. I felt bad.

Later, we had Latin. I really hoped we wouldn't have a teacher like mrs. Giraud. She was literally a snake. I can't believe we got her as our homeroom teacher.

For Latin we got mr. Douillard. When we got to his class, his introduction was short and he immediately started asking questions about Latin. Everyone was annoyed because he asked questions on the first day. I also found it annoying.

"Who can tell me what this means?" mr. Douillard asked as he pointed to the board. Nobody except Annick raised their hand. I looked over to Applebaum and saw him chewing on a pencil trying to think about the answer. Suddenly, he turned around and saw me looking at him. He smiled and I smiled back at him. Then, mr. Douillard saw someone raising their hand.

"Yes, mr. Descamps?"

"I think that miss has her hand up." mr. Douillard, annoyed, looked at Annick who still has her hand up.

"Yes?"

"The Romans welcome Horatio with joy and congratulations and escort him to his house."

"The Romans 'cheer' Horatio... Can you conjugate the word 'ovare'?" mr. Douillard asked Annick and she immediately answered.

Behind me, I heard some noise. I turned my head around to see what's going on and I see guys passing around a paper. I saw that mr. Douillard also saw something was going on. The paper was given to a curly haired boy to pass, but mr. Douillard ruined all plans.

"What do you think your doing? Give me that!" mr. Douillard shouted and the guy got up and handed the paper to the teacher. As soon as the teacher saw what was on that paper, he was shocked.

"Do you think this is funny?" mr. Douillard shouted at the curly haired boy. He just lowered his head.

"What's your name?"

"I didn't do it."

"All of you culprits have the same name. So mr. 'I didn't do it'-"

"It's Laubrac." the curly haired boy interrupted him.

"Okay, mr. Laubrac. Are you that foster kid? Some nobody's son trying to graduate... How amusing. Didn't anyone teach you discipline in the care system?" mr. Douillard said and the boys snickered. Laubrac just lowered his head more. I felt bad because it wasn't his fault. I wanted to say something, but I would get in trouble.

"I won't let you disturb my class. Get out." mr. Douillard once again shouted at Laubrac. I saw Michele raise from her seat.

"But he didn't do it!" Michele shouted.

"Didn't anyone teach you to raise your hand in your girl's school, miss Magnan?" mr. Douillard asked, but got no answer in return.

"Or do you think that you have a free pass because the schools dean is your uncle?" Michele nervously gulped.

"Escort your new friend to your uncle's office. He'll give you detention too."

Michele and Laubrac walked out of the class and I glanced at Applebaums direction, but he was looking at me already. The teacher then ripped the paper so nobody could see it.

When we got a break I walked out of the school to get some fresh air. I didn't expect school to be like that. Suddenly I needed to go to the bathroom. I didn't know where it was tho. I saw Pichon and I thought he might know where the bathroom was.

When I walked over to Pichon, I saw Applebaum and another guy sitting next to him. I got really nervous, but I really needed to go to the bathroom.

"Hey Juliette!"

"Hi." I nervously said. Pichon then looked at his friends.

"Guys, this is Juliette. If you didn't notice, she goes to our class. Juliette, this is Applebaum and Felbec."

"Nice to meet you." I smiled slightly as I said that.

"Nice to meet you, too" Applebaum said with a smile. I panicked a little to ask.

"Um... By any chance, do you know where the girls bathroom is?"

"I don't think we have a girls bathroom." Pichon said and others nodded.

"Oh. Okay than..." I disappointedly said.

"I can get you to an empty bathroom and I'll cover for you so nobody walks in." Applebaum said and got up to find me a empty bathroom.

I walked next to him and I sent him glances. I thought he was handsome and I couldn't stop looking at him. His every feature suited him perfectly. He just looked so beautiful.

"You can go in now." Applebaum said when he checked that it was empty.

"I'll wait outside."

I got in. I could finally go to the bathroom and it was because of Applebaum. I owed him now tho.

When I finished, I walked out and saw Applebaum standing next to the door.

"Um... thank you, for everything." I said as I made eye contact with him.

"Yeah, no problem." he said. I stepped really close to him, gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and walked away.
