The New Spider-Man

Chapter 1

     Tyler gets rudely awaken by his mom turning on the lights and yelling his deadname. Tyler groans and sits up, rubbing his eyes. As he gets dressed for school, he ruffles his short-ish blond hair that just covers his eyes to his liking. He walks down the stairs into the kitchen, grabbing a cereal bar for breakfast. He sees his dad drinking coffee at the table. 

     "Hi dad" he says as he grabs his black backpack that has stars all over it. "Hey kid, you better go outside, its 10 till" His dad informs him. 'Oh shit" Tyler thinks and runs outside before he can miss the bus. For some backstory, Tyler is a 15 year old Trans boy who is not out to his family yet, but he was planning on telling them after school today, and he was horrified to do so. Anyways back to the story. 

     The bus pulls up and stops slowly in front of him. He gets on and sits next to his best friend, Oliver, who is moving schools soon sadly. They giggle and laugh loudly, annoying everyone else on the bus. Little did Oliver know, Tyler was crushing hardcore on Oliver and he was never telling them, because why would he? He knew Oliver would never date someone like him. 

     The bus arrives at the school, Tyler and Oliver meet up with their friend Annie at morning announcements. "Yooo Tyler! Oliver! How are you guys, its been forever since we talked" Annie said when the 2 walk up to her. "Its been 2 days" Oliver giggles out. Annie brushes them off and says something that Tyler isn't paying attention to then, he is only thinking about after school, when he is going to come out to his parents. 

"FAGS"

     They all turn their heads to the guy who yelled fag at them. And of course its Noah Davis. He is such a dick. Annie's about to throw hands but Oliver stops her. "Come on Oliver, this is mean. I wanna beat his ass" Annie complains as Oliver. Oliver laughs and pushes Annie lightly. 

     The bell rings and the 3 friends split up to talk to their next classes. Tyler walks to Miss. Burks class, world history, and sits in his assigned seat that's in the back of the room. Burk walks up to Tyler and gives him a small star sticker "Here ya go Tyler! You coming into my room for lunch again?" She asks "Yea as always, will you have my snacks?" Tyler asks her and she smiles and nods, about to say some thing but the bell rings before she can say it. "We shall talk later kid" And then she walks to the front of the class. 

     Tyler takes the sticker and thinks of where to put it. He decides to put it on his laptop, next to another sticker that he also got from Miss. Burk. He looks up at her teaching, she's saying something about the beheading of some guy, Tyler isn't picking anything up and decides to ask her about it at lunch. He looks around at the people in his class, its mostly people who hate him. There is one that doesn't hate him, her name is Ava. She was his childhood friend, they drifted apart but they never hated or even disliked each other. Everyone starts to get their laptops out so he follows. 

     The class is over with a ring of a bell, Tyler gets up after he packs up his stuff up. He walks out the door and Oliver is waiting for him outside the door "Hi Ollie, how was art?" Tyler asks knowing they had art first. "It was awesome, i drew a duck!" They replied. The 2 friends talked for a few as they walked to their next class. This is how the next few classes went, nothing interesting happened till lunch. 

     The bell rang for 1st lunch, Tyler has it alone so he always went to Burks room. He walked down to her room and happily went to the snack bin she has just for him. "Hey kid, I got to do some grading real quick, then you can fill me in on all the tea" Burk explained as Tyler grabbed a drink and a small snack. Tyler sat on the floor next to her desk and ate the snack as he waited. 

     A few moments later Burk joins Tyler on the floor with her lunch. "okay kid, you have my full attention, Fill me in" She says as she opens her chips. "I'm planning on coming out to my mom and dad as trans tonight after school, and i still have a crush on Oliver but I'm not going to do anything about it because i know they would never like me. Uhhh what else.. OH! Me, ollie, and Annie got called a fag today by Noah again. I don't get why he does that. Its quite annoying" Tyler continues talking about his day and the weekend as Burk listens to every word. Miss. Burk as truly changed Tyler's life and he is so grateful for her. They talk for the rest of lunch like always.

                                                                                     ~Time Skip~

Its almost time to go home, Tyler is actually shaking, he doesn't talk to anyone until he gets home, Oliver seems to make a note of this. Its his stop... He slowly walks off the bus and into his front door and of course both of his parents are there. He sets down his bag and walks in the dinning room where is parents are. "Hi my sweet girl, how was school?" His mom said. He took a step back, like actually. "it was good, uh i have something to tell you" Tyler responds "Shoot" His dad says 

"Mom, Dad... I'm Transgender"

"No, get out. Now."
