The dirt from the road was gritty against my feet. A gentle breeze danced between the strands of my loose hair. Melodious birdsong rang through the forest, as I bent down to pick an anemone flower. The motion of bending down sent my hair over my shoulder, and I realized it was blonde. I raised a hand to the top of my head where a bonnet sat. I did not even have to look down to realize I was also wearing a long blue dress identical to the one in my previous vision of Adaline. A gasp escapes my lips. I look around  in more detail this time as I realize I have been here before. Last time I was just observing in the background, but now I was in the same spot as whom I was watching. What was she showing me here? There had to be something of importance on this road or she wouldn't continue to lead me to it.

The best course of action seemed to be to continue along the path while also looking for any sort of clue about why I kept popping up in this place.

"A little help here would be great" I muttered to myself, hoping that Adaline would hear me. The road continued straight for a while longer, and I found myself enjoying the freedom of it. My bare feet were dirtied by the earth as I picked flowers and listened to the birds chirp away. I almost forgot what I was here for. Almost.

The birdsong stopped. I could sense the aura before I could see where it was coming from. It weighed a thousand pounds and reeked of malevolence. The forest was still. A calm before a storm. I continued walking, anxiety overwhelming my every pore. The dirt felt cold and damp beneath my feet, and the shining sky seemed to take on an overcast. The once inviting trees now loomed over me, dark and haunting.

I continued walking.

At this point, I wasn't even sure where to, but I felt with such conviction that I had to make it. There was a slight bend in the road ahead, and I quickened my pace toward it. Within a few steps, I'll reach it, but before I could I was met with a sight that paralyzed me. Standing before me was a wolf larger than Levi, its fur as black as the night sky, exuding strength and power in every muscle and sinew.

What was even more eerie is his lack of movement. He did not so much as flinch when coming into contact with me. Instead, he stood tall, staring at me with the intensity of human eyes. Adaline's body—-My body?—- reacted within a second as an intoxicating aroma reached her nose. I closed my eyes for a moment and inhaled. I Couldn't help thinking how Levi's scent is so much more alluring. Holy shit, alluring but similar. This wolf is Adaline's mate. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks. She also was mated to a wolf, but this makes no sense. I thought werewolves were formidable foes. I am not sure how something so terrible could have happened while she was mated.

Fear. It ravaged my body. But it was not my own. It was mixed with confusion, and the emotions were definitely Adalines. It was like our bodies had become completely connected in the memory.

"I am not ignorant to what you are, show yourself to me" The words left my mouth even though I had not thought to speak them. My hands were trembling, and I wondered if it was my doing or hers. The wolf bared its teeth, in what looked like a smile before the cracking of bones echoed through the forest. In less than a minute a tall, handsome man replaced the Wolf. He was striking, a definite force of nature. I could not help but notice the similarities between him and Levi. They shared the same striking eye color, and their hair curled in the same way.

"You are my mate," He says, a deep resentment for the word resonating in his voice.

"It seems to be that way" I reply, void of emotion now. He seemed to ponder this for a moment. I can't read anything from the expression on his face. It was almost like he was disinterested in the thought.
