Waking Up

Recap- Yudhisthir left for Dwarka after leaving a letter.

Now-

Yudhisthir reached Dwarka's palace by night and entered it in rage. "What happened putra?" Ugrasen asked as he saw him. "Pranam nanashree." He said touching Ugrasen's feet. "Kalyan ho." He blessed. "Well I was worried for Vanshu and Vinay so I came here." Yudhisthir said and both of them went to Vinay's room where the siblings were lying.

"Pitashree!" Aabha said running to him and hugging him. "How are you dear?" He asked picking her up. "I am good. But I thought you were gonna take me and ma after she woke up." She enquired. "I was missing you and your ma very much so decided to come here and spend sometime here." He said as the trio moved to the room.

Yudhisthir teared up after seeing the state of his Vanshu. "Pitashree, ma will wake up right?" Aabha asked tearfully. "Yes. Yes she will definitely. She has to come back to us." He said wiping her tears and they both sat down on a chair beside the bed. "Had your dinner?" He asked and she nodded. "Alright then sleep. Its way past bedtime." He said and she put her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

She slept within no time. He laid her on the bed beside Vanshika and covered her with duvet. He then sat down and was looking at Vanshika. He didn't knew for how much time he sat there but after sometime, he saw Vinay stirring, he then opened his eyes but shut them as quickly due to the direct impact of light on his eyes. He again opened them and blinked his eyes vigorously to adjust them to light and opened them.

"Vinay, are you okay?" Yudhisthir asked quickly running to his side. "Water." Vinay said and Yudhisthir handed him a glass of water. "I am okay, never felt better. But, what are you doing in my room?" Vinay asked narrowing his eyes. "Vanshu is here." Yudhisthir answered pointing at Vanshika. "What's she doin' here?" Vinay asked confused.

Yudhisthir then told him everything that happened in the duration of time he was asleep but skipped Dushasan's part. "Where is Dushi?" Vinay asked rubbing his hands across his face. "In Indraprastha." Yudhisthir answered.

"Okay I'm gonna take a bath." Vinay said getting up and moving towards the bathroom. "Its midnight and also its winters you'll catch cold so just sleep." Yudhisthir said stopping him. "I just slept for 2 days straight, how can I fall asleep again?" Vinay asked perplexed. "Oh yeah, sorry." Yudhisthir said sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.

Just then the gate of the chamber opened amd in came Balram. "Vinay you're awake! Thanks Heavens." He said and hugged him. "How are you?" He asked his little brother. "Dau, I was just asleep not on some war. I am fine." Vinay answered. "Now, we just have to wait for Vanshika to wake up." Balram said and they all nodded.

And, at that exact moment, a groan escaped Vanshika's mouth. "Hey bhagwan!" She said and sat up stretching. She opened her eyes, not fazed by any light, blinked a few times to focus but couldn't. She closed her eyes and beat her head with her hands just like we beat our remote when it doesn't work.

"Oh yeah I haven't worn my specs." Shr muttered and then searched the bedside table but couldn't find her specs. "Arya have you seen my specs?" She asked Yudhisthir. "Oh yeah they are in our room." Yudhisthir said and took off to their room to bring her specs. "Then where are we?" She asked. "In my room." Vinay answered. "What the hell am I doing in your room?" She asked wrinkling her nose.

Balram then explained everything to her. "Well that explains the weird dream." Vanshika said and just then Yudhisthir came with her specs. She wore them and blinked a few times. "Aye haye! I first saw his face after waking up. My whole day will be bad now." She said as her sight fell on Vinay first. "Are you call me manhoos?" Vinay asked angrily. "No no I am not calling you manhoos." Vanshika said and added,"I am calling you maha-manhoos" when Vinay smiled.

"Vanshu! I am warning you." He said. "Vinnie I too am warning you." Vanshika said imitating him. "You are imitating me?" He asked her. "Yes I am." Vanshika said folding her arms across her chest. "I'll show you." Vinay said grabbing a pillow and hitting her across her head. She gave a war cry picking a pillow herself. Till then Yudhisthir had picked up Aabha safely and laid her down on the couch.

The siblings were standing on opposite sides of the bed, pillow divided equally between them and then the war started. Vinay threw a pillow at Vanshika which she blocked easily and threw it back. He threw another one and now she just kept dodging and blocking the pillows untill Vinay had none left.

After that she started her own attacks and soon both of them were standing on the bed fighting like small kids with pillows.

"What are you both doing?" Balram asked and both of them immediately stopped fighting. "He/She started it." The twins said together. "You are nit some 5 year olds for gods sake. You are married and Vanshu you have a kid just behave maturely for once." Balram scolded them. "Sorry Dau." They said together holding their ears.

"Alright we have a problem." Yudhisthir said and explained them about the Dushasan situation. "Oh we'll deal that tomorrow, now let's sleep." Vanshika said shocking the trio. "You still wanna sleep!? You just woke up from a straight 2 day sleep!" Vinay exclaimed. "Yes I know but I am still tired and you know I also have to tell you all about the dream that I had." Vanshika said. Everyone sighed and nodded.

Balram, Vanshika, Yudhisthir with Aabha went to their chamber while Vinay just remained there.
