Should she? Should she feel bad for this woman who stole the man she loved the most since childhood? The woman who turned Kired to an unrecognisable monster?...Maybe she just doesn’t understand… Her father loves her… Floran clenched her teeth, glaring at the crying woman just on the corner of the courtyard. She stomped towards her and at a distance, she stopped. “What are you doing?” Floran got no reply other than her continuous annoying crying. “You chose to run away, right?” Her cries became louder but she still did not say anything, she probably can’t… *Gulp* Floran sat beside her. “...I don’t know about your father but I’m quite sure that you running away is not the reason… Not the main one at least.” Floran fidgeted with her dress, waiting but getting nothing that she hadn't gotten before. Floran let out a *sigh* and– “You don’t know anything.“ Floran raised an eyebrow before they furrowed. “Indeed I don’t. I’m just saying. It took nearly a month for him to start walking to death; why couldn’t he start a few days after you left and not a month after?” Hugging herself, Fromena muttered, “Please just let me be...” Floran frowned. “Fine.” She stomped away. ‘I was trying to be kind to you for once but, okay. Fine. I don’t like you anyway–‘ *Sniff* *Step* *Step* *Step* *Step*
The King let out a chuckle, smiling widely as he stared afar from his bedroom. “Not even a year passed and they already surrendered. Isn’t it amazing?” The King turned to the two, a cup of wine in his and their hands. “Yes, sire. Absolutely. I expected for them to give a lot of fight, which they did but then…" Lord Loir looked at the King, wide eyed. "You did something." “I definitely did, Lord Loir.” The King laughed and the Archbishop chuckled, making Lord Loir’s face scrunch up a bit. “Looks like your grace has told his excellency something but didn't tell me. I am offended but more curious. May I know this little secret the two of you keep?” “Oh no, forgive me Lord Loir.” The King lightly laughed. “It is okay, sire.” “How can we tell you the King’s plan when your face after finding out the outcome first is so satisfying?” His excellency laughed after his drink. “What do you mean?” “You look like a child. It’s cute!” Loir’s face reddened. “What???” The two laughed harder; his excellency holding onto the King to not fall from his amusement. Lord Loir wiped his face, *sighing* shakily as he removed it's red. “May you tell me, sire?” His excellency let go of his grace. “Of course, Lord Loir.” His grace brought his cup up and finished it. *Tud* “It all started with that little book I found.”
The two Kings sat on their respective seats, on the opposite ends of the table. By their past relations, some might see this as a diplomatic talk to persuade each other to join their side but, no. Especially with the boiling rage from King Solus for King Kired. In his eyes, he’s just a prick who broke his daughter’s heart and manipulated her to have her come back to Korre. “I want the entirety of Conterus. Surrender.” King Solus raised an eyebrow. “Did you just order me–” “No.” “Huh?” King Solus stared at King Kired, getting real annoyed by that stupid smile on his face. Is this some kind of game for him? “I’m sad…” “What???” “For you…” “What are you talking about?” “Your daughter ran away…” “You brainwasher her, you motherfucke–” “You lost your mind and killed your wife…” King Solus froze… He glared at King Kired. “I don’t see how that’s related–” “Everyone hates you…” King Solus laughed. “I already know that.” “If they don’t, they just don’t care…” “Okay?” “Like your father…” King Solus’ eyes widened… He’s speechless… “But there’s one person, right? Who loves you so much… who cares about you…” The King leaned towards King Solus. “Your mother. Aren’t I right? …Sadly she’s gone…” King Kired frowned. “Murderer.” King Solus slammed his fist on the table. “She fucking deserved it! She’s a manipulative sadistic bitch! She never loved me! She’s abusive! That’s fucking obvious!” King Kired smiled. “But even if that’s true, what I said is also true. She’s the only person who loved you.” “I have no idea where you got that information but that’s not going to work for me. I moved on–“ “Everyone knows.” “Ha! Nice joke.” “Even your children–“ “I know. I told them.” King Kired smiled sweetly. “Really? Even the details?” “Huh? You’re being ridiculous. They don’t need to know those.” “I don’t think so…” King Kired looked at King Solus eye to eye, his blood red eyes piercing through King Solus. “Incest is a massive sin.” …Huh? “You heard me... Unless you didn’t, I’d gladly repeat my words for you.” King Solus started shaking. “How did you–“ “Everyone knows.” King Solus clenched his fists. “No, they don’t.” “They do, and they all think you’re pretty disgusting.” King Solus stood up. “That wasn’t my fault! I was forced!” “Really? You’re the man.” “That still wasn’t my fault–” “It is. Your father was away. Don’t try to deny it… You disgusting… motherfucker.” “I was a boy then...” “A very strong and athletic boy... still stronger than a woman.” King Solus’ head lowered, tears forming in his eyes. “She’s my mother, she had authority over me.” King Kired leaned towards King Solus. “You had many chances… Why didn’t you refuse?” The King saw King Solus finally break, he fell back to his chair, crying into his old weak hands. “I pity your people… They don’t deserve such a disgusting man, you, to be their King.” The King walked out of the tent, reaching into his pocket for a book, the book that King Aden had left in Korre after a party. He flipped the pages and reached for a page that had been ripped out a long time ago. “Should I give my thanks to King Aden?”
