I heard a knock on the door with Winter's voice echoing through the small dark room. "Yes?" I asked trying to sound alright. "Hey Stacey it's Winter." There was a pause and another knock before she spoke again. "Are you ok you looked upset" I didn'twant her to see me like this.
I stood up and wiped the tears off with the skirt of my uniform. "I'm fine really I just need some time alone." I said with the door still closed. When I felt like looked normal I rolled the cart around and unlocked the door letting Winter in. She turned on the light causing my eyes to slit together.
"What happened in Mr. Lincolns office?" Winter asked almost immediately."Uh-umm nothing. It was nothing don't worry about it. Now I need to go clean the rooms I was assigned too." I walked past her dragging the cart behind me. I heard her call my name but I kept walking all the way to the elevator.
I just wanted to make it to the guys sweet. Their jokes always cheered me up. I walked into the elevator and hit the button that would take me to the 42nd floor. The elevator music almost drove me to insanity but the ride wasn't long enough. The door opened with the traditional ding signaling that I had reached my destination. Outside waiting for the elevator was Harry, But he wasn't alone. His arm was wrapped around a petite blond. I stared at his arm before making eye contact. His eyes were glued to me as I pushed the cart past them.
"Stacey wa-" I didn't let him finish as I turned around and slammed my fist roughly on his cheek. Harry fell to the ground. I looked up at the blond who was giving me the death glare. "What you want some to" I said as I took a step closer.
Her eyes softened as she backed away. "Thought so." I stepped over Harry's body and walked off just as a tear rolled down my cheek. "Stacey wait" I heard Harry say again. I hurried to the hotel room and dug for my master key. Just as Harry was a couple feet away I got the door open and slammed it in his face. I leaned my back against the door and slowly slid to the ground. I made sure he was long gone before I let the tears stream down my face.
I can't believe he did that to me. I thought he actually liked me. Now I don't want to go to the sweet cause I'll see him for sure. I slowly got up after a good 8 minute crying session.
-------------------------------------
I finished with all my roomed and made t to the top floor. I was now in front of their sweet. I slowly opened the door and was confronted by..no one. "Where could they be?"I said lightly to myself. I left the cart by the door and walked down the hall. "Hello?" I asked loudly.
I heard a muffled voice coming from the last door on the left. Louis's room to be percise. When I was right up to the door I put my ear up to the cold wood.
*Louis on the phone*
"I understand. Ok. Ok. Calm down Terri. I was drunk. I know. I know. I understand. Ok I guess this is good bye then." I listened a little longer until I heard footsteps coming towards the door. I quickly made my way back the the cart and pretended like I just got there. Louis walked into the living room shortly after. "Hey" I said acting normal.
"Hi" was all he said as he walked into the kitchen and made himself a drink."Whats wrong?" I asked playing dumb. "Nothing, don't worry about it"
I walked into the kitchen behind him and put my hand on his shoulder. I decided to ask who Terri was. "Who's Terri?" I said fastly before I could change my mind.
Before I knew it I was pinned against the fridge with Louis's hands holding mine captive at my sides. "How do you know about her?" He asked with his breath blowing on my face.
