A/N : hello to everyone who's reading this, thank you so much for reading this book. About 3 years ago I was writing this just for fun, but I've been noticing some of you do read my book. After long time, I've decided I should write something here, hope you'll enjoy <3.

Imagine Kai is your best friend, but he gets jealous when you go on a date.

I woke up from my bed as soon as I heard the alarm. Today is a great day, because I'm going on a date with my crush from the college! His name is Jack and he's so sweet and cute. Even though he is my crush, he's the one who has planned this date. I'm lucky I know. I brushed my teeth and did my hair. I'll start to get ready for the date after eating my breakfast. I went downstairs and my brothers Stefan and Damon are talking something in the kitchen.
"Good morningggg!"
I said and kissed both of them on the cheek. They look confused.
"Are you okay?"
Damon asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean your energy, you kissing both of us on the cheek. We haven't seen you this happy for so long."
"I agree."
Stefan agreed with Damon.
"Oh come on, I'm expressing my love to my brothers. Is it a bad thing?"
"No, no definitely not."
I rolled my eyes at Stefan.
"Today is your lucky day, because I made pancakes for you."
There's a big pancake on the plate and it has whip cream and blueberries on it.
"My day couldn't get any better. Thank you!"
"You're welcome, enjoy."
I started to devour the pancake, it tastes really good.

After eating my breakfast I started to get ready and did my makeup.

I went downstairs and my brothers's eyes were on me.

"Woow you look great Y/N. Based on your outfit it means you're going to meet someone. With whom are you meeting?"
Stefan asked.
"I'm meeting a friend from college, no need to worry about."
"Is that friend is a male?"
Damon asked from the other room and I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, and so what?"
"You know what'll happen if he breaks your heart. Just wanted to remind you."
"He's not wrong."
Stefan said and I smiled. Sometimes their overprotectiveness makes me want to slam my head to the wall, but I'm really glad for having brothers like them. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
"Is it your date?"
"No Stef, we'll meet in the mystic grill."
Stefan opened the door and there is. The star, Kai Parker.
"Hellouuu, you guys missed me didn't you?"
Kai smiled at Stefan and got inside.
"Oh my God, not you again!"
Damon said while groaning.
"Shush Damon, I can't exhaust myself with your attitude."
He said sarcastically and then, he saw me.
"Wow."
I blushed a little.
"Y/N, you look gorgeous. No sarcasm, I'm being honest."
"Thanks Kai."
I smiled at him.
"Where are you going?"
"I have a date in mystic grill."
All of the sudden his smile dropped.
"You, you're going on a date?"
"Yes? Is something wrong?"
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"Why would I tell you before?"
"Because I'm your best friend?? I literally tell you everything but you don't do the same!"
"Oh my God Kai, please don't ruin my mood."
I took my bag and left the house. Someone grabbed my wrist. In someone I mean Kai.
"Wait, who's your date?"
I turned to look at him.
"It's Jack, from the college. Would you excuse me? I don't want to be late."
He looks..sad? I've only seen him sad when he opened up to me about his family.
"Have fun."
He said coldly and left. Did I do something wrong?

"Hii, I hope I'm not late!"
"You're definitely no- wow. You look beautiful Y/N."
I finally got the the mystic grill and Jack is hugging me. He moved the chair for me to sit.
"Thank you Jack."
"You're welcome beautiful."
I'm red help.

We've been talking about for hours. We clicked pretty quickly. We both love the same things.
"Walter white is the best chemist in the world, hands down."
"I totally agree!"
We're laughing until I saw recognizable figure a little far away from our table. This dumbass. It's Kai. What the hell is he doing here?
"Jack, would you excuse me if I'll use the restroom quickly? I'll be quick."
"Yeah sure. Take your time."
I thanked him and walked next to Kai's table.
"Get your ass up."
I whispered and he got up too. We both got in his car.
"Kai."
He looked at me.
"Are you out of your mind? Why the hell are you stalking me while I'm with my date?"
I yelled at him.
"Jeez, calm down."
"Answer my question."
"No I'm not out of my mind."
"Other question!"
"Oooh."
I slapped my forehead.
"I just wanted to see him."
"Why did you want to see him? It's not up to you to see with whom I'm going on a date."
He looked at me without saying anything.
"Say something!"
"I like you Y/N!"
I froze.
"I like you not as a friend. I like you more than a friend! I don't want you to see other guys. It boiled my blood when you told me you have a date. I've showed you signs that I like you, but you've never noticed any of them."
I can't get my words out.
"Oof I shouldn't have told you this. Just forget it, okay?"
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"I didn't want you to reject me."
"I was afraid of the same thing."
I looked at him smiling, he looks shocked.
"So you like me?"
"Yes Kai, I like you. And to be honest, I've forced myself to like Jack. I don't think I'm in love with him."
"Are you in love with me?"
He asked excitingly.
"Yes."
"Say it in a full sentence."
"Don't do this to me."
I said while covering my face, but he took my hand and kissed it.
"You look so cute when you get shy."
I smiled but I remembered Jack.
"Shit, we forgot about Jack!"
"No worries I'll compel him. I'll be back, don't miss me."
He placed a kiss on my cheek and get off the car.

After a few minutes, he got back.
"I'll take you to a beautiful place."
"Is this our date?"
"Hell yes it is."
He started to drive. I'm genuinely happy.
