Thalia hears footsteps and looks behind her seeing Tooru walking up with a neutral look on his face. She turns to look at him with a blank cold stare and asks "did you lock the door this morning?"

He stares at her for a second and looks at her wearily "what do you mean, did I? Didn't you lock the door?" He furrows his brows in concern.

They stare at each other blankly, "YOU IDIOT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO LOOK THE DOOR" Thalia yells "WHAT NO YOU WERE SUPPOSED TOO" Tooru yells back in defense.

"You turd, I walked out the door before you because you were fixing your hair!" She protests and Tooru goes silent looking at her with a blank face knowing he can't defend himself.

They begin to walk towards the parking lot (they bougie 😎) when Thalia speaks up "I talked to Tobio recently" she says turn to see Tooru's reaction. He scowls slightly and begins to pout "what did that little prick say" he frowns.

She chuckles softly seeing his reaction "nothing much really, but apparently he was threatened to secrecy by someone" His eyes quickly dart to look at her "I didn't threaten him" he huffs.

"Then what would you call it" Thalia laughs "mild intimidating" Tooru shrugs grabbing his keys out of his bag as they walk up to the car.

"That counts as threatening dumbass" she walks up to the passengers side and starts to pull on the door handle continuously. "Will you wait 2 seconds so I can unlock the door" he says finally unlocking the car.

"You're just slow" she states opening the door and gets in throwing her bag on the floor in front of her, closing the door behind her. "You're just impatient" he says getting in.

"Out of all people you're not allow to tell me that" she snickers. Tooru just rolls his eyes in response and closes the door and starts the engine, quickly putting the car in reverse and puts his hand on the back of Thalia's seat looking behind him, slowly reversing out of the parking spot. Thalia notices this and can't help but stare.

They get onto the main road and Tooru puts his hand on Thalia's thigh out of habit😝. "What were you threatening my poor child about anyway" Thalia questions "your child?" Tooru says annoyed "yes! He is my son" She states proudly

"You adopt way to many first years" he chuckles softly "you're changing the topic" she points out "what did you threaten my poor tobio about anyway" she says crossing her arms.

He glances at her for a second before turning back to look at the road. "It's not something you don't know" he says rubbing circles with his thumb on her thigh. "Huh?" She says confused.

"I already know what you threatened him about?" She tilts her head in confusion. "Technically yes" he shrugs slightly glancing at her again. "Technically? I'm not good at context clues, you know this" she says still clueless.

Tooru simply chuckles "you'll find out soon enough" he says. "But when is soon cause I'm impatient" she pouts. "Oh so now you admit you're impatient" he glances at her once again.

"I never denied it, I simply said out of all people you aren't allowed to call me impatient" she deadpans. "Iwa-chan would just say we're equally impatient" he laughs softly.

"That's very debatable" she says pursing her lips. "Sure sweetheart" he lowly chuckles not looking away from the road. Thalia finds herself staring at him and feels her stomach due a few spins.

"Damn" she says blankly "what?" Tooru glances at her and gives a confused look. "I said that out loud?" She asks blinking quickly to get out of her trance and turns to look at the road ahead.

"What were you think about that made you unconsciously say damn" he asks taking his hand off her thigh to turn onto there street. She looks down to were his hand was and looks back up at him not processing anything that he said.

"What?" She asks blankly as they pull in tot he driveway. Tooru shuts of the car engine and turns to her. "What were you thinking about" he asks once again. Thalia just stares at the house in front of them with her hands between her legs.

"Stuff" she finally turns to look at him pink tint on her face, due to it being dark out tooru didn't notice it. "Like what?" He questions wanting to know what caused her reaction.

Thalia locks eyes with him and opens her mouth to say something but nothing comes out. "I-" is all she could make out, she throws her head in her hands and groans "que me estás haciendo hombre" she mutters in Spanish.

Tooru looks at her utterly clueless "my Spanish isn't that good... I only know when you scold me" he chuckles softly. He reaches out and grabs one of Thalia's hands making her look at him.

Thalia sighs and looks at the house and then at her hand in his. "It's just-" she pauses figuring out the right words "what are we?" She blurts locking eyes with him.

Although in the darkness it's hard to see it's easy for them to find each other's eyes. They stare at each other for a second before turning away. Tooru sighs and leans back in his chair "why do you have always ask the hard questions" he lets out a small laugh and turns to look at Thalia who is tracing toorus palm out of habit.

She can't help but smile slightly at his comment. "We have, something.... But we haven't actually established anything." She says looking back up at him "what do you want it to be?" He asks.

"That's hard" she whines "why's that?" Tooru hums softly looking down at his hand as Thalia goes back to tracing his palm. "I feel like our entire relationship changes depending were we are or who we're with." She traces her thumb across his palm doing a repeating pattern.

"What do you want us to be?" Tooru states simply making Thalia look up at him. "I want us to-" Thalia quickly gets cut off by the sound of knocking on the window. "Can you guys hurry up I'm hungry and I've been waiting" Takeru ruins the entire moment.

They turn to look at each other and nod that this will be a topic for later. Thalia let's go of Tooru's hand and grabs her bag and opens the door making Takeru move out the way. "You sure are special Takeru" she sighs ruffling the kids hair before heading inside not wait for Tooru or Takeru.
