Charles and Jocelyn had been spending every single day together. They couldn't stay away from each other.

Jo was sitting on the carpet. She was writing down in her songs notebook. All the days she had spent with Charles, she had been working on her song.

She looked up and saw Charles cooking. He was making pasta. Jo loved pasta and Charles loved making Jo happy.

Charles felt Jo's eyes on him and looked at her, she looked down and smiled.

"I caught you." Charles spoke smiling and Jo chuckled looking back at him.

"How's the pasta going?" She asked and looked back at her notebook.

"Great, I think..." He replied not so sure and Jo chuckled.

"That doesn't sound convincing." She raised her eyebrows and pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

Charles laughed and grabbed a bit of pasta with a spoon. He walked towards Jo and she looked up at him.

"Try it."

Jo grabbed the pasta and ate it. She scrunched her nose when the pasta crunched.

"I think it's a bit crunchy." She giggled and Charles laughed.

"I like it like that. Crunchy, it adds texture." He spoke and Jo laughed shaking her head. "How's the song going?" He asked walking back to the kitchen and Jo sighed.

"It's...going." She replied.

"That doesn't sound convincing." Charles joked and Jo glared at him with a smile. "I'm joking, I'm sure it's great." He chuckled.

He turned off the stove and walked towards Jo. He sat down next to her and took the notebook from her hands.

"Feels Like." He read the title out loud and Jo chuckled softly. "Sounds good already." He tilted his head slightly and Jo smiled at how cute he looked.

Charles started reading the lyrics and Jo leaned her head on his shoulder. She watched him nervously, not knowing if he'll like it.

"Is this about me?" He broke the silence smiling and Jo chuckled.

"Not everything is about you." She joked grabbing the notebook.

"They're really beautiful." Charles spoke genuinely, his heart still racing from the lyrics he had just read. "Do you have a melody?" He asked.

"Kinda." Jo stood up and walked towards Charles' piano.

Charles followed her with his eyes and stood up from the carpet. She sat down and placed her hands over the piano.

"Show me what you've learned." Charles spoke and Jo smiled softly.

"I would do whatever you wanted." She sang and clicked some tiles making a melody. "We don't have to leave the apartment."

Charles smiled walking towards her. He leaned on the side of the piano watching her with a smile as she sang.

"Met you at the right time."

He leaned his chin on his hands, looking at her fondly. She smiled softly, feeling Charles' eyes on her.

"This is what it feels like." She sang and looked at Charles. "How was it?" She asked and Charles was about to say but she cut him off. "Be honest." She pointed at him and he chuckled.

"I love the lyrics and the rhythm is really good. Does it bother you if I try playing it another way?" He asked and Jo smiled nodding.

Charles put his hands on the tiles and Jo looked at him attentively. He started playing and humming the song.
