how can this happen?..

Me and Neji are walking home, while having a nice conversation.

"Oh! I almost arrived at ho-" I couldn't finish the sentence, I see a group of medical team outside my house.

"Huh what's happening?" I ask while I run as quickly as I can, Neji being behind me.

"I'm sorry Sakura." Lady tsunami says as she looks down to the ground.

In confusion, I run into my house, seeing my mom's and dad's corpses almost full of blood.

My eyes just turned cold, from the happy emerald glaze.

"What happened?!" Neji asks someone from the medical team.

"Someone.. From another country.. Killed them for information, we're sorry, we tried our best.."

Hearing that made me cry so much.. I thought I was dying almost.. Wasn't it enough that I already had a bad day, now I will have a bad life?!

Neji came up to me, trying to console me, but of course I still cried and cried.. And cried.

The next day I barely could wake up, I had to sleep at hyuga clan's place, because I didn't wanted to sleep at mine's..

"Sakura! Are you okay? Do you need anything?" Hinata stopped her training with neji when they saw me walking outside.

"N-no, thanks.." I whisper. I barely could move and speak, my everything was taken from me.. I just wanted to die so I could be with my parents.

"You should stay home today, I'll talk to the teacher and inform them" said neji with a concerned tone.

"No! I shouldn't.. If my parents saw me like this, they wouldn't like it.." I said, trying to get the motivation who's already gone for so long.

"Well.. If you really want to.. I guess you could." Neji mumbled.

At school

Everyone's looking at me.. Why? Do they know what happened? Or maybe I look very weird and that's why..

"I'm sorry for your parents" "I hope you're alright" "they were such good people.." "They are in a better place!"

So many people kept apologizing to me.. Like they killed them, it made me feel so bad.. I hate it when they are already pointing out that my parents are dead, it's only been one day! It's making me go numb!!

Neji notice that I didn't like people telling me they're sorry for me so he drag me by my arm firmly to the Sakura tree.

"You know? I actually wasn't here by accident.." He murmured.

"Huh?.. So you were spying on me?."

"Well.. Not really, I founded out that your parents died.. And I just felt like I had to be with you when you would find out, and I planned to be here, behind the Sakura tree after you confession to Sasuke.."

"Oh.. Why did you did that?.. We aren't even friends actually.." I stated.

"..I just felt like that.." He said while looking at the tree.

After school

I saw an ANBU coming towards me, I didn't really knew what he wanted from me, but I understood it was serious.

"Are you Sakura haruno?" The ANBU asks.

"Yes, I am, why do you ask?" I answer curiously.

"You have to come with me. " he looks at me genuine.

Time skip

We arrived at lady tsunade's office.

"You have to go alone" he said while teleporting before I could ask anything more.

I enter the office, and tsunade waited patiently for me.

"Sakura! Finally you're here" she said gladly.

"Tsunade sama? Why did you wanted me to come here?"

"Well.. About your parents.. Since the died, and you're a kid.. You can't live alone, you have to live with an adult."

"What? Well, couldn't you lady tsunade take me in, please?" I murmur sincerely.

"I'm sorry.. I can't bu-" tsunade sama couldn't finish the sentence when the door wide openned.

"I could take her to hyuga clan!" Said neji to my surprise me.

"Well in that case, hiashi hyuga, the clan leader has to complete some papers."

"Neji are you sure? Have you talked to hinata's dad?" I asked, I didn't wanted to be a burden to them too.

"Of course it's alright, let's go to your new home" said neji.

".. Alright." I whispered.

Time skip

Now that everything is settled, all I have to do is take my things out of my old house.. I thought It would have been easy, but it really isn't.

I stare at my old house, frightened, remembering the old memories of me and my parents.

Neji observed my sadness. "You know what? Just tell me what you need from here and I will take it."

My emerald eyes just started sparkling when I heard him.. He would do that for me? How nice of him! He's a good friend.

After 40 minutes we're finally ready, my bags full of my belongings are quite heavy, I am glad I have neji to help me with them.

Time skip to night

"So Sakura, could you tell more about yourself?" The clan leader asked.

"Well.. I-"

A big explosion just began next to the window hiashi hyuga was standing next to.
